Senghir 24th Imperial Crusade	Posted - 2008.06.12 00:14:00 - [1] If you're joining/joined the 24th Imperial Crusade, here's the info you need to know for now as comms are likely (and hav been already) getting very busy over the channels and we need some coherency for the early stages. Silas Vitalia will be co-ordinating several operations for people in frigates and destroyers etc for the early stages of the conflict and to get people working together. Ssyn will be co-ordinating any manufacturing queries and also producing many T1 ships for use of the 24th Imperial Crusade which are mainly frigates and destroyers. If you are new and have general questions about what to fit, or what ship to use etc and who to talk to, please join the channel Amarr New Recruits. This is so you can get your questions answered more quickly by like minded people rather than having to compete in the Militia or Corp channels. As far as the point of contacts mentioned above, this is very much only for the early stages of the war effort and is subject to change. It is purely to give a cohesion for the short term, and as there have been no objections for now it seemed sensible. Hope this helps. There arent going to be any major serious tactical movements here. This is purely for new guys to get together, talk about stuff and maybe fly about a bit for practice. What is so hard to understand? There is no advantage for you to gain here. We arent talking blob operations here, we're not talking about anything bigger than destroyers. They can sit in militia all day long doing whatever they want, ignoring everything going on and not have some megolomanical leader kick them out for not being on at time XYZ for the fight. I watch 5 or 6 of them try to solo an Amarr blob last night in their frigates, interceptors and destroyers. I was sitting watching the gate in my recon as a scout for our fleet (which I must admit seemed a little more disorganised than the Amarr one). Every single one of them was slaughtered. I just wish I'd had a salvager fitted . Seriously guys, watch the map, even as early as 18 hours after FW went live the Amarr are already contesting more of our systems than we are of theirs and we have almost double the number of pilots signed up. Look, learn and adapt. We seem to have enough people willing to help but without some organisation we are just going to get steam rolled.

Having been in various State fleets recently, I can say having seasoned pvpers step up and fc and teach us things - when they have been able and such, has been really good. I've found them to be in the main considerate of the newbness of alot of us and willing to explain everything that they ask us to do or not do. -------

Why is there so much OOC hostility in this thread? The guy is performing a service: he's trying to help organize operations for those interested. He's set up a help channel for those who have questions, he's coordinating ship building to help get people in space. There's nothing that requires you to follow his lead, since he can't pull hangar rights or kick you from the corp. But for those who'd rather not fight as a one-man army, he's trying to help get gangs together. If you want to fight solo, just don't listen to him. Sheesh. That having been said, DEATH TO SLAVERS!
