yeah, it will be interesting for sure. I personally think it was a good accomplishment mainly for the caldari militia morale even though it was 3 carriers.... WITHOUT a support fleet let me remind you. Yes we had tons and basically they were bored, lagged and dead. Very fun ofc but nothing to get*****y about.

it was 4 not 5 or 6 and only the three that died aggressed, we only killed them cause they went for fleet members, their fault and personally i doubt their super bothered about it... not that it doesnt inflate the kb nicely. |

I don't half you posters "get" FW and what it means to empire space. Im pretty sure more then half of that fleet never even seen a cap ship before, never mind blow up 3 in an all out brawl. And the fact that RA lost caps to the brand new, fresh out of the box militia corp is something worth a good lol. |

In regards to blobbing, that 180 man fleet was rare as hell, but the main fleet will undoubtedly grow in the coming weeks as more people join up.
It has been a blast so far however. People show up day after day, hour after hour, mostly in small stuff, fun fights, little smack, no pos warfare to worry about.
You 0.0 guys are just angry that the militias are getting more of a fight out of each other then you get out of your enemies.
Then again you get moons right? |

Not sure why everyone is dissing the FW guys. It is kind of humorous when you think about it :) Not that it's fail for anyone involved just kind of a moment.
Gotta admit I never thought FW would do much.... let alone spawn 180 member fleets. |

You guys dont get it.. its not like its a big deal for RA to lose 3 carriers. The thing that is big is that they lost them to FW noobs who had maybe 30% of their fleet on coms etc. (Yes my alt is taking a look at FW and was there)
What's even more hilarious is the crying the RA carrying pilots did in local after dying. Blaming lag etc and modules not activating. The funny thing is I saw their carriers boost their shields and rep their armor ^^ And btw there is a prom moon in that system and I think thats why RA was over there in the first place. |

this was big in several ways.
first of all the attitude exhibited by some of the 0.0 players that the militas would be nothing but easy targets for them to come and attack and feed off of has been proven false.
The militas even if they are mainly newer players to pvp have a core of experianced pvpers in them that lend their expertise and advice and the caldari one has some good fc's also.
this fight showed that even a gang of new pvpers that listen and are well led can hold their own.
the voice coms during that engagement were for the most part very calm and professional even after the fight but the fleet chat however went nuts when we downed the last carrier. It was the first carrier kill for the majority of the people in the fleet and the excitment was a pleasure to see and be a part of.
it was big because eve gained a lot of new pvp players that once where mission runners but now are hooked on pvp. they will continue to grow and learn and most will prolly end up in a 0.0 alliance.
I spent the last year fighting in the big war with the GBC and had a blast and learned a lot but yesterday my first day in the faction wars was as fun as any day i have had in eve pvp.
the expansion is huge for eve. it brings fast fun pvp to players that normaly wouldnt get to experiance it and they are loving it. The militas are a large scale pvp school that will benifit all of eve in the long run including the 0.0 alliances.
I think this expansion is the best one ccp has ever delivered.

Hmm, i dont really think it takes great skill to kill several carriers with 200 man fleet in heavy lag. You dont need FC, skill or whatever else. Just F1 F2 F3, sit back and watch while modules activate. |
