Can a DEV post some screenshots of the work beeing done in Shiva?
ie: The new UI
ie: The new ships
etc
They don't need to be perfect, just give us a small window to peek into the future and calm the whinery.

something to show off the dungeons and the "mineable moon" thingie would be very much appreciated as well (if the moons are still scheduled for shiva, haven't heard about it for a while).

I would like to see a screenshot of some of the major interface changes & other interesting changes that are being made.
I dont even mind if they have a big sign through them saying "This will change" or "Under Development" so its clear that the image shown WILL possibly change, it would just be nice as well as a little incentive as to what to aim for.

Hehe... I still think of POS as meaning "piece of sh.. shh... sugar" lol
Got one question about the POS hanger... how do you dock and then go over to the rest of the base... do you just get your space suit on and jump 
They really need something connecting the structures I'm thinking. I can just imagine someone jumping and missing hehe...

Titans are boring.
Minmatar titan looks like a giant garbage truck w/ lights.
Gallente titan looks like a chunk of bark off of a tree w/ engines.
Amarr titan looks like a giant horizontal jellyfish.
Caldari titan looks like a bunch of weapons put together. (its roxor)
Dreadnoughts aren't special considering they use existing ship hulls..
Unfortunetly, CCP do not have any completely new ships for you. They are all off of existing hulls. Just different paint jobs *woop*
Examples, the Phoenix (Elite Caldari Bship) is a change from the Raven. With more gun towers and stuff.. ;P

Sorry if I don't take the bitter post of a fellow player as gospel, but I think I'll rather believe a dev than a player when it comes to features and additions that no player has seen or tested yet.. ;)

EDIT:
Oh, and I was talking about the destroyers, dreadnaughts and whatnot. I'm sure we've all seen a picture or two of the Minmatar Titan and anyone who's seen it can describe it however they please. The same doesn't go for the other new ship classes which no one aside from the devteam has seen yet to my knowledge (elite cruisers are not a new ship class, hence won't have new models).

Well Mastema is wrong, maybe he has a way of extracting the ships to see what they look like, and if thats true, then the models for the new ship classes are place holders, if not they scrapped the idea of using the same hulls.

I must admit that I'm also interested in seeing some of the Shiva pics, since the promise of the expansion is one of the main reasons I came back to EVE when I hadn't played since beta... Give us info, or, at least, a timeline during which we can expect implementation. Anything would be wonderful. :)

Perhaps CCP is waiting for WoW to go live. Then they can release Shiva to keep people in EVE:) If they release Shiva before WoW goes live, then more people will probably leave when WoW finally goes live.

So it's about time Kalki and his swift sword went on judgment tour, right? Oh, come on. Get serious. You don't REALLY believe we are about to be chopped up by this Kalki guy, do you?
For example: another apocalyptic `omen' outlined in the Puranas states that men living at the end of the Kali Age don't get older than 23 and that the poor will dress in clothes made out of tree bark and leaves. And this is definitely not happening -- or at least, not yet.
And yes, I character names do mean something (Kalki, the destroyer, Nibiru-- Jupiter) I'd go on more specificly, but no one is interested

As far as I read out of that snippet posted, those are new Bloodlines, parts of existing races, so no new ships for them.
Still, might the seasoned players be able to pull a trick and rechoose their bloodline ? I wouldn't mind being an Achura...

There will be no morphing into other bloodlines for the simple reason that each bloodline has its own inherited default attributes, changing bloodlines would mean changing attributes so it is doubtful the devs would go to the great lengths to allow us to change.

Hold on one moment, big deal, a blood line that specializes in piloting. What does that mean for us veterans? NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING.
Remember, we all had the choice of choosing a bloodline at the beginning of the game and picking what attributes we wanted, all this bloodline does is have the attributes spread differently and instead of having Skills X, Y, and Z, they will have skills, A, B, and C for piloting. You need to remember that bloodlines dont get any special bonus to learning skills, they just have a different starting attributes (and if any of you dont know about the Caldari Civre line, I'd say they are the closest to a 'pilot class' there is, I dare go as far as saying if the new bloodlines have any more attributes towards perception and willpower that the bloodline will be horrible at training anything else!).
So all of you who think a new bloodline is going to change everything, just remember this:
Bloodlines only affect the default attributes and starting skills of the player, outside of the beginning of the game, it means nothing since everyone trains skills equally with their attributes and bloodlines do not gain skill training bonuses

I don't know if any of you will remember but way way way back in beta bloodline did *actually* mean something as you got specific bonuses for being different bloodlines:
Amarr Bonus : -50% for using Amarr Stargates
Ni-Kunni : +25% max ask/bid value on market
Civire : +3% accuracy bonus for hybrid weapons
Deteis : -2% production time for all modules
Gallente : -10% drill time when mining asteroids with lasers
Intaki : +20% chance of getting a new agent
Sebiestor : -20% ship repair cost
Brutor : +10% speed bonus for Projectile weapons
There was a whole set of benefits + handicaps, educational bonuses and the like... Really added some specialisation to the game which would have been nice to see... never did work out why they took them out :(

Introducing a new bloodline with special bonusses can have only one reason.
EVE is ment to run for a few years and new Players will join periodically after promotional activities.
To close the skill-gap between old and new players CCP is grabbing into their magic box and is presenting us, voilÓ , new races or bloodlines.

To ease our older players' acceptance of this they ought to make them "manufactured" bloodlines. With all the high-tech cloning and all that, you'd think there'd be a few of those around among the more transhuman spacers? You know, use a few Jove bits to reforge your genetic make-up.
I don't know, but that's a helluva idea in any case (I think so anyway).

Erm let me add... what about anything that was promised for ages? There has been relatively no new input for a long time, plenty of balancing / nerfing and hot fixes but 6 months on from castor and we have yet to see many of the items we were promised within castor.
Player owned structures, cloaking to name but two of a big big list.
Every time there was a CSM we got repeated promises of a timeline for these developments and hello surprise surprise that never once materialised.
We get told Shive was pencilled in for May, why am i therefore unsurprised to see that its more likely gonna be sometime in q3 and going by CCP's track record of one year this will be later rather than sooner, just in time for a XMAS sales push no doubt.
I am somewhat alarmed to say the least that the most exciting bit of art that has "leaked" from E3 relates to two new bloodlines that aren't even very well developed. They are suddenly bringing in two new lines to an existing empirical race???? WTF??? Whats the story behind that, these guys been hiding in Caldari basements everywhere for last 12 months?
I know that sounds like a big moan but please understand it is more just a high sense of frustration that CCP's communication is inconsistent to say the least. We sometimes get told tons, sometimes nothing, individual promises are regularly broken and sometimes not just broken but repeatedly broken.
Please CCP i beg you to prove me wrong. I am desperate to be wrong. Perhaps we could get an up to date devblog detailing the following simple things.
1) Up to date timescale for CCP's anticipated Shiva release date, not some muppet reporter from E3
2) A list of the content the definitively expect to be releasing at the Shiva patch time
3) a list of the promised kit that they know won't make shiva but will be rolled out during shiva and if needs be vague timescales.
I just dont wanna find myself 7 months down the line in same position. waiting for next big patch, believing the CCP hype and having only really received a dribble of the stuff i was promised would go live with the last big patch.

Hmm.. perhaps we can buy a clone that has had gene therapy to change its bloodline but you have to die to make it active (Also losing what implants you may have in addition to the cost of your clone.
