I was relly excited when the new patch came the other day. I enlisted in the amarr militia to fly missions. After moved some of my ship for a whole day to get in position to run missions a clicked on a mission agent only to get a mission that was about 20 jumps away from the starting location on top of that the time for me to finish the mission to get the time bonus was only 40 minutes!!!!
Usually i dont have a problem about flying a few jumps (1-5 jumps) to get to the mission site but 20 jumps through low-sec!?! Who are u kidding? I would be lucky to get there in one piece let alone get back. To do all this in 40 minutes? I would like this to be changed. So far the mission in relation to this "great war" have nothing but one big farce..

Could be the "carebear" in me that's saying this, but I know from other posts that it's not just me that finds these NPCs harder than regular missions, not to mention the "reward" isn't much of that either. Doubt anyone's listening. Doubt CCP realizes this. And I also doubt the missions will get easier.

This is realistic. I routinely fly 20 or more jumps to kill enemies in PvP. Stop thinking of it as a mission, and think of it as 0.0 warfare with training wheels. ------------

Dont forget they run autoadaptive mish reward / timing software and its gonna take a few weeks for it to start kicking in |

I'm pretty sure that is not what Cavaros was referring to when saying realistic.
It is not possible to fly 40 jumps (20 there and 20 back if there is a return cargo request) and complete the entire mission in under 40 minutes.

second: low sec has become much more hospitable tbh, in the systems ive been to anyway, a week ago if i was hanging around a low sec gate, a pirate fleet would warp in and ransom my ass in 30 seconds, yesterday, i kinda felt like a reporter or something in iraq, i was in LOW SEC, hanging w/ a gallente fleet busting chuck norris jokes w/ them waiting for the caldari fleet to warp in and engage (which they did, and got their asses kickd in the process, it was priceless)
