CryRex	Posted - 2008.06.14 18:56:00 - [1] Hey guys, I'm still relatively new to Eve and I was just wondering how I should fit my new Omen (Amarr crusier). I'm going to use it for PvP and FW mostly, so any PvP fits would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance guys!

Jumping into a ship that you don't have proper skills to fly will end in disaster, especially in PvP. However, if you're partaking in massive faction warfare gate blobbing, go for it. The chances of you being called primary are slim ---

So does that make the Thorax better? 6 more dps is very irrelevant imo, and you'll see why. A thorax with the same fit only goes 4460 m/s So, would you prefer 300ms or 6 more dps?

Needs more cpu, I remember trying to fit an omen pre-revelations and it being impossible with 4 guns. Power grid is an issue as well, would be nice to fit a rep or 800mm plate with medium guns and all, but cpu is more of an immediate issue I think (in my above omen setup I couldn't even get in energized adaptives...) As for rax vs omen, as a die hard gankrax fan I'd go with a thorax every time, however the omen is quite a bit faster with a lot of extra range, 1v1 if you played your cards right in the omen you could at least get away from the thorax Since the op was asking about factional whatever, which I have been led to believe is some impressive blobbage at present, the omen would be a healthy damage dealing cruiser, a duramaller isn't going to do anything special in a blob. also, epic lulz Nostalgia \| Deadspace2 \| Deadspace
