You've changed my perspective of not being a fan of non-HUD vids, to thoroughly enjoying them. Historically, non-HUDs to me take the borecake, but you've (and a couple others) have found the right blend of editing, camera work and soundtrack to make them highly enjoyable. Thanks for the 3 minutes of fun. \o7

I tend to view non-UI vids from the point of a view of somebody who knows what EVE is, but doesn't play.
edit: just to clarify..I *do* play eve...I just like vids which I feel would interest me even if I've never played it before.
As such it seems your vids tend to not have much "narration". The start Ghost Festival effect is uber cool, and it starts off well, but by the second half, it becomes clear the vid is a bunch of cool looking shots put together. There's not really anything to bring it together. It starts to get, dare I say, boring. (Or maybe I'm just jaded)
Personally I like Corelli's never outgunned vid, simply because it at the start it sets the scene "Enforcing the interests of our shareholders" and at the end it brings the vid together "With OSY cleared the operation is ended". There was no long exposition or wall of text, only a few floating sentences to give the barest of tastes of the story and background to the viewer, leaving the rest to the imagination, which imo is perfect.
I'm sure with GF's RP backgound at least some sort of story can be made up and included.
Overall, 7/10. I'm show this to people I want to convince to play EVE, but only to show off how good EVE looks etc. I'd show the Corelli film to tell them about the story, and depth of EVE, which for me is what EVE is about.

Ghost Festival is a very new corporation. This, and the video was not intended to be anything more than a mere recruitment video. That is why there is no story, and that is why it is all eye candy. I've already ideas for a 'narrated' video, but they won't come to pass for a few months yet.
I'm glad you have all liked what I have to offer in the meantime. The praise is humbling.

While I haven't watched the video yet, I know it's awesome because the soundtrack is the Boom Boom Satellites, teh bestest techno band evar.

Might come to pass, but I was actually thinking of straying away from drum and bass for my next more cinematic video. If I ever release another PvP video you'll probably see plenty more Boom Boom Satellites. :)
