i once was in an op where we killed a carrier, and the guy flipped out on us with all sorts of different slurs- the best part was how he tried to mock us by saying 'you must be french', we thought it pretty funny that the fc and guy who had planned the gank actually was french, which didn't make his carrier any less a smoldering wreck :) calling someone by their nationality in an attempt to insult them = fail.
this guy in the above thread? i'd petition him just because it would be one way to make his life harder. that and addybook/locator/suicide gank. always a good decision.

Whilst many people have said (and I agree completely) what an ignorant tool this player is it demonstrates the symptoms of one of the essential and best parts of EvE....
It hurst to lose / the investment of time is that much more valuable than other MMO's.

tbh I read this first off as an American Soldier on a brief R+R in one of the middle-eastern theatres, but certainly not representative of either his home Country or his profession.
I cannot imagine a situation where it would be acceptable to say such things (private convo or noob channel), but that is because I have no inkling of :-
(a) what personal or situational stresses this guy is under
(b) whether he or she has mental health issues
(c) whether he or she takes everything negative in life as a personal insult
I even think this individual is to be pitied rather than ridiculed, but wholeheartedly agree he/she should not play Eve under any circumstances judged by the responses to a "within-mechanics" in-game setback.

The guy should be petitioned. He is using the game as a vehicle for racial hatred.
He might have been upset by the can-flipping, but looking at the stuff he wrote I'll bet he uses this kind of racism routinely. He clearly hates black people and people from the Middle East. His statements go far beyond a casual racist insult - he is verbally attacking several races, and he is repeatedly expressing racial hatred.
He is entitled to his vile views, of course, but he is using the game as a medium for communicating them and that's not what the game is for. He should be banned.

First is, you play what you are. I ask that you please post his last know location here as it will make tracking him down a bit easier. I would prefer to spend my time ganking his ship and not wandering around looking for him.
I am not the best player, or the richest player...what I am is intolerant and tired of this type of person/player.
I offer many thanks to you all...EVE is my break from reality and I would prefer to not share my sandbox with the likes of this kind. I can handle losing to superior forces, tactics, skills and sometimes just plain dumb luck. But I cannot in good faith sit by and do nothing about this type of attitude. I would not tolerate it in real life and I see no reason to tolerate it here.

I'm an American, and I can't agree more. At first I was going to join in with the people who wanted his name so we could all grief him, but I think it would be best to report him and get him thrown out of the game. EVE-Online is too great of a community to let such a cancer remain.

Given the fact that most players come from either Europe or America and that this guy hates europe because (quote) it is run by 'socialist' governments, I thought America was a pretty good bet.
Now my money would be on him being an eastern european racist who has moved to the UK, but who knows - it's all just speculation.

With five of our Members online last night, we tracked him from to Nare, and then on to Ordion, where he holed up in station and put forth some of the most disturbing text I've ever read... (I wouldn't be surprised if his RL body was somewhere surrounded by animals he'd personally taxidermied.)
So, docked up in his Incursus, and obviously fearing his inevitable suicide, and just continued regaling local with his particular brand of drivel.
I'd like to call upon everyone who is working towards the inevitable destruction of this 'persons' ship and pod, to help in co-ordinating an attack against this character. I'm going to remove the password from "The Ninja Alliance" channel in-game, and invite anyone who wants to assist with an attack on this blight on society to join up.
