Ahh, you are referring to that annoying little message thing that pops on your screen that has nothing to with actually helping you get that kill mail.
Yea a lot of peeps seem to grasp on to those little messages to sooth there booboo's when they get pwned by some one that does not care much about those little fun facts.
Red Guy: "Yea but I hit you for 2356 points of damage n00b!"
Blue Guy: "Yep nice. Oh and thanks for the kill mail and your loot.
Blue Guy: :"Oh yea, just an FYI, you have kill mail rights on me for a while if you want to try to break your high score."

dont know exactly, but in wave of mutilation 1/2 not sure, farjung got sumwher between 13-18k against a freighter, i not sure, havn't seen that in aaages
just thought i'd throw that in there

My highest hit against a non-hull, non-stationary target was like 1.6k (haven't bothered to actually look it up though, so I could be wrong. It was definitely over 1k though), using 1400mm T2 arties on a Maelstorm.

17:29:21 Combat Your Tachyon Beam Laser II perfectly strikes Kruul's Pleasure Gardens, wrecking for 5011.1 damage.
All damage skills level 5 ( including large gun spec ) + faction damage mods and ammo and a t2 tachyon beam laser ( better dps then faction beam lasers ).

For capital size guns it will probably be my main's ion siege blasters in a max damage fitted moros.
