Just wondering: what's your record hit?
My Record: 268.4 with a 200mm Autocannon II with 'Hail S' while piloting a Rifter(of course!)
Relevant Skills:
Minmatar Frigate IV
Small Projectile Turrets V
Small Autocannon Specialization I
Surgical Strikes II
I'm not that old, time-wise, and my gunnery skills have a looong way to go before they're perfect. Also, I don't much care for bigger stuff, so I stick to my Frigates.
What's your biggest/proudest hit? Please post the numbers, what the weapon was, what the ammo was, and what your relevant skills were at.

On my main I got .1 damage with a cruise missile on a Spider Drone during a mission. I was really impressed by that.

Well, this is currently my best hit,
14:08:51 Combat Amarr Navy Tachyon Beam Laser hits Space-Port for 3010 damage (Wrecking!).
This was done with a standard multispec crystal so I should get more when I plug Amarr crystals in, also this was against a target with no resists so it isnt really the kind of damage I would deal in standard combat.
If you hadnt already guessed this is on a Nightmare (100% damage bonus )

Considering the fact that formulas for missile damage, and turret hit quality modifiers are known, these valueas are not very interesting. You can pretty much calculate the Wrecking hit of Capital artillery, EMP loaded - and that will be your ultimate top :)
Its like maximum speed of a ship - whats the point in spending gazzilions of ISK to create an ultra-pimped-uber-skilled-megaclaymorebonused Vagabond, if you can calculate the number you gonna get?
Never really understood that.

I hit a rifter with 720mms on my cane, onevolleyed it with one arty on first shot. I think the hit was about 1200-1400 damage (wrecking) but will have to log in after work to check;)
Amused me no end though, other than that I've hit haulers for just over 1400 and ofcourse hit for alot more with 1400mm IIs on pest no great hits come to mind though.

It's a bit trivial since there is no real variation in hits as long as your skills are maxed, and you make a wreck against hull (aka 0% resist).
Best wreck - probably when I had faction XL EMP. 30-40K - I don't really know or care :)

My personal best so far was hitting some structure in a mission with 1200mm arties (tech 1) for around 800 damage, but that should improve significantly soon.

Ammo was multifreq and probably Scorch L. Admittedly I think those were hull hits, but Nightmare +100% dmg bonus ftw

Try being within 0 km of the station. Leave the formulas to CCP and NEWSFLASH you can miss a huuuuuuuuuge space station right in front of you EVERY SINGLE TIME

Well true. But posting wrecking shots is epeen stroking at best. Posting them against great big fat stationary targets is just lame.
*****s me up it's a supposedly a show of military might against a target that doesn't fight back or even move.
If you're gonna stroke your epeen. Include the angular velocity and the signature radius and the general populous might be impressed.
PS: Mission/NPC rats don't count either.

Ahh, you are referring to that annoying little message thing that pops on your screen that has nothing to with actually helping you get that kill mail.
Yea a lot of peeps seem to grasp on to those little messages to sooth there booboo's when they get pwned by some one that does not care much about those little fun facts.

My highest hit against a non-hull, non-stationary target was like 1.6k (haven't bothered to actually look it up though, so I could be wrong. It was definitely over 1k though), using 1400mm T2 arties on a Maelstorm.

All damage skills level 5 ( including large gun spec ) + faction damage mods and ammo and a t2 tachyon beam laser ( better dps then faction beam lasers ).
