I don't really know about morale being more important in WoW. For one, players are often fighting for something (loot), and in Eve, in a big war, the general rank and file may or may not directly be involved in the spoils, or may be fighting for numerous reasons.
However, morale is the be all to end all about wars in Eve. Without morale you don't have troops, and no troops leads to no fights, and this leads to losing, and often when morale is incredibly down, an Alliance will start hemorraging members, or member-corps, and in generale, a lack of morale is what does kill alliances.
In Planetside, the best commanders of squad leaders or anything who I played with were like the best FCs in Eve, and always calm and collected. When people started ranting and raving is when things started going downhill, it hurts morale, and in any sort of complex game, where you need to look at numerous things, it breaks down that ability.

However, morale is the be all to end all about raiding in WoW. Without morale you don't have people showing up to raids, and no members raiding leads to not going on raids at all and this leads to not gaining any new items, and often when morale is incredible down, a guild will start hemorrhaging members, and in general, a lack of morale is what does kill guilds.

I'm glad you decided to put a thought of thought and effort into that reply, rather than just write some dumb statement. Since you know, that really contributed to what has by and large actually been an intelligent debate.

Also if you die in WoW big woop, just go get your corpse, In EVE you lose your ship and your **** outta luck. The greatest FC's understand this and show appreciation for your efforts.
You'll have to really dig into that multi-billion ISK wallet of yours to replace the battleship you lost... Depending on repair costs, in WoW it could actually take MORE time to farm the gold to pay for the repair than it would to farm the isk for a new ship in EVE.
Na in Wow the macro scripts did all the work for me when I was at work. It was nice to come home to a properly running script
No comment on eve, other than I like the pvp

Comparing WoW and EvE... ohkay.
* Missions = Quests? - WoW Wins. * Action ("twitch") - WoW Wins. * Raids = Complexes - WoW Wins. * PvP-Premades = Fleetops - Matter of Taste. * Arena-PvP = small gang pvp - EvE wins by far. (imho arena declassed most classes) * World-PvP = small gang pvp - EvE wins. * Solo-PvP - EvE wins (no fun in alterac 10001st time and counting) * Class choices - EvE wins Freedom to the players. * Difference of Equipment - EvE wins. * Supprise Moments - EvE wins. * Economy - EvE WTDPWNS WoW :P (EvE has one and wow doesn't) * Community - EvE wins as it is still more mature - but as the player-numbers increase... Imagine this with 10 mio customers. * Organisation - EvE wins (corps vs guild, alliance? rights? roles? wallets?) * Immergence - None of the games is truly "well done" here. I guess EvE might get a little boost with ambulation. Crews are still missing so the Identification is better in WoW. Yes, an undead mage is more sensible then being a spaceship.
This could probably go on for a while. The one big advantage EvE has - the major advantage: You - as a customer - ca see that CCP wants to improve the game, not just "keep it running". Even if I sometimes dont like the direction of some changes, the company still has my deepest respect for sticking to THEIR game.
Now - to the OP: I've met some very very capable Raidleaders in WoW. And some that make the "50 dkp minus" one look level-headed. To compare we do have to look at the PvP ones. The "action" in EvE isn't really compareable to WoW. It's imho a little like the difference between strategy and tactics. So while playing stuff like "arathi premade" back in WoW Classic there WERE strategies, responses to enemy actions, positions,... BUT all planed because we knew what it looked like EVERY TIME. *yawn*. And there we have something that will keep a lot of people away from EvE - lots and lots and lots of "unknown". And no matter what you pick - the ones who take it upon them to be the "commander" to make the stressfull decisions, to make mistakes that aggro 150+ players :P... they deserve some respect. And this ca be shown by their fleets trying and pilots paying attention.
