1) Why implement a completely fake weapon from the abaddon? Or am I missing something?
2) Although eveonline.com redirects to eve-online.com why didn't the trailer have the - ?

I'll take that jumbo to mean it was past tech from before the gate collapsed. in which case it's at jovian levels.
But then again it says nothing about it being a weapon. maybe it was used to steal tech from the jovians?
I hope someone that reads the book will fill us in.
