Its good, just not what I was hoping for.
The 2 teaser trailers were done in a news report format, which was both unique and cool. Based on all the news items that were floating around during the patching period, I was hoping that the actual trailer would consist of multiple news reports mixed in with live combat footage.
Also... the 2 teasers finished with the words "War is Coming". I thought it would have been a no-brainer to have the actual trailer finish with "War is Here", or something to that effect.
Like I said... very cool trailer.. but not exactly what I was hoping for.

It was very well done, but I prefer the news story style videos from before. That being said, it still kicks ass and is ten times better than other game videos out there. These ones have a epic feeling the others cant pull off since they are about dancing elfs... :)

Try crankin' up "World in conflict" to max settings on a decent rig. It ain't there just yet but not too far.

Looks nice, but the ending and Dreads with turrets have as much sence as a chicken on fire running across the screen ..
Think the art department should REALLY talk to devs before doing movies ...

As said in the image that appears at the top right corner of Eve site when you go to eveonline.com, CCP recently purchased the domain eveonline.com from Erns Vetter GmbH (now eve-rotary.com.)
To me it makes a lot of sense, since I'm pretty sure that a lot of people typed the domain without the hyphen.
So now they acquired all the eve domains (digital assets) to have a stronger presence on the web. That's the right way to go.
And promoting the new domain is a wise decision. Hyphen used on domain names (unless the brand already has one, like Coca-Cola) is not desirable. Hyphen-less domains are simpler and easier to remember.
So far they seem to have:

For those who don't fly caldari, when the caldari fleet is shown in the trailer, the Phoenix dreadnaught has an Ion Siege Cannon(Gallente) where it normally has a Citadel Torpedo Launcher. Makes no sense at all because Caldari have never used blasters, only railguns, and even then, no Caldari capital is built for anything but Citadel torps.

Don't read too much into it. My take on it is that it's an amarr propaganda video. Think about it, there is footage of the minmatar fleet in the video which does not match with how we all know the event actually went down. In reality, the minmatar fleet appeared outside a station as a show of force and then left. In the trailer, they blew the station up and are these evil aggressors.

My eyeballs fell out from staring so hard in awe at that new trailer. (Do you have ANY idea how hard it is to poke those things back into place???)
Great job...would definitely LOVE to see a version of this new trailer done in the news format with lots of different reporters' excited voices, and sharp cuts to the narrator's ominous voice as he continues the backstory.
But no complaints....Wow, that was really so darn cool. I love EVE.
