As I have said before
Nano supporters see no problem with the fact that most of the anti nano setups are infact also nano ships.
The only other answer is the vimpire like battleship. I tryed this, went out in a geddon and found a group of 5 nanos. After they engaged me and found out my sinister plan they bugged out to 200km and left me sitting there. I probably did suck the target ships cap dry but he had enough momentum to get out of range.
Getting rid of a nano ship is easy but if I want to kill nano it seems I must become one of them.

Alot of these anti nano tactics will not work.
1. snipers. I have a 200km snipoc and a 100km pulse snipoc, both are very good at what they do but are easily made useless by the nano ship simply moving out to 300km. So you need to either get lucky, have a panicing nanonub in your sights or alot of sniper fireing at exactly the same time to get a kill.
2. The Neuting BS. I have a rather nasty geddon setup but it suffers the same problems the sniper does, its slow and cant do anything if the nano ship simply moves out of range
3. intis. Armed with webs a pack of these should be the bane of any nano fleet, but since most nano gangs have webs themselves intis dont last very long to make much of a difference.
4. ECM. Everyone hates it and everyone wants it as part of their fleet but all an ECM boat will do is stop a nano ship from targeting while leaving its speed and ability to warp intact.
All are great tool for chasing off nanos but if you want to kill them then your going to need a nano yourself to chase them down.

as soon as the ECM hits there off out to 300-400km well out of range of anything but nano.
My pulse snipoc might have the power of a small star but its useless if they are not in range. This is what we are faced with day in day out.
Nano HAC's/recons sitting on a gate 300k out immune to everything in a fleets arsonal.
Also going solo means I cannot use all of these things, its this or that. Which means nano will continue to get away from me untill I get my own nano ships.

Thats because nothing locks that far. sheesh
so thats why they fly out there. nothing can catch them unless its a nano ship, hence the problem. The ability to engage at will and a almost garenteed ability to disengage in fights.
This problem is rampent in 1v1s with a slowboat. The slowboat cannot run like a nano ship if things are going badly.

Are you gonna make a thread on cov ops being OP because they can sit cloaked and stare at you, being invull now, i mean, they're even more op because you cannot see them :0
Its this sort of attitude which is turning me off FW.
I am starting to get sick of one sided fights where at best I can force my opponet away and at worst die with no chance of escape. While the nano ship at best will kill me and at worst be forced to retreat.

Why does them sitting 300km from you bother you?
our fleet jumps into tama, the nano gang near the gate sees the gate flashes and moves out to 300km. They then wait for the fleet (which cannot do anything to them at this distance) to leave the system and then returns back to the gate camp.
The only way to get rid of them is to send out an equaly sized nano gang to hunt them down.
Im not saying all nano is bad, just that the speed at which these ships are going is stupidly fast and should be brought down a bit so that I at least have some sort of chance

Not too hard, eh? Lots of options, and I'm sure there are more. Some may complain that not everyone can fly a rapier, huginn, or hyena (you damn sure should have one or two in your fleet if its any above 15) or complain that you shouldn't have to fly one of them to counter a nano, but just fit a freaking Heavy neut and you're golden.

Hey *******, if they are 150km out, they can't hurt you. Why do you expect to be able to hurt them. People have posted constructive advice to help you on your whiney war against nano's yet you decide you are just going to ***** and moan instead of listen. Honestly, terminate your character and gtfo, because you are a little too immature and childish.
So how exactly do we kill these things because thats all they ever do. Everything posted in this topic for anti nano I already do and its not working. As far as I see it my only option is to spend the next few months training for a hugginn, nanoing it up and fitting some faction webs.

I dont see how this is nano related.
It's the same as having a cov ops on the other side looking what comes throuhg, as soon as there's a bigger gang you warp off, again, not nano related.
A battleship warps to 15k off the gate or someone pops a neutral, now a normal fleet would have 2 options, warp to it or stay put. A nano gang however can close that distance in time before aggro runs out or the battleship arrives on the gate and bump them off and kill them.
The difference between the two is that the nanos can break off the attack if something danagerous arrives while a standard fleet would be in warp. Once on the gate they would either try and fight off it or be forced to jump through (in tamas case this would mean getting a pounding by high sec navy).
