My only problem is that when I hit a ship with a target painter, the effect bar is now under the target's shield bar. And, of course, I can no longer read the seconds counting down because it's obscured too. I imagine if I go into the set-up I'll have to configure the text size to maybe reduce things. |

If a few more UI items expand by a few pixels each, you will not be able to cram the same information onto the screen due to being a few rows too short. Reducing the scaling from 0.9 to 0.8 would help, but simply not expanding the UI to take up more space would be better, |

I think the problem is that this isn't the first time something has been increased in size, and that continueing this will leave even less space on our eve clients :)

One thing that caught my eye with the change to the sh/ar/st bars isn't the tiny change to the spacing between them, cause that doesn't make them take up significantly more space.... It is however the fact that the outline on each bar is much brighter then it used to be.
When the outline of the bar gets more visible against the blackness of space it becomes more eye-catching and therefore looks bigger. When looking at the entire screen, the outlines of the bars, makes all targeted ships/structures stand out more then everything else on screen, drawing your attention to them without reason.
To some, that can be very annoying |

How do you need a bug report to see this? Just try stacking vertically yourself....it looks idiotic now w/ names overlapping the target below...(and you wonder where ppl get the idea that alot of you dev's don't actually PLAY the game) (not tryin to hate, but just being honest)
After doing some screenshot comparisons (with targets horizontal) it appears that the target box is only a few pixels taller, but something seems amiss about the text wrapping now, that is what makes the current target boxes look ginormous...it wants to keep wrapping the text further down the screen... |

I agree that you do not need a bug report to see this vertical issue. Start up the client and try it yourself. Takes about 10 seconds. If you must have a report then submit it yourself. |

I love people who don't understand that this issue is not the only one to be dealt with, and the fastest way to get it in the work que with a proper priority is to submit a bit of documentation. If they spent all of their time trying to chase down random crap because someone mentions it on the forums nothing would ever get done.
Grow up people. When I check troll in the dictionary, it has a photo shopped picture of you standing somewhere in the vicinity of a point.
