If the motive is for wealth or territory there are dozens of alliances occupying space that would be far easier to bowl over. If they are looking for the challenge then BoB probably represents a bigger military challenge. NC represents a logistical nightmare more than a military challenge. A lot of regions spread over a number of alliances, the coalition amounts to over 10k members, logistically it would be a nightmare to hold that much space against that many players.

So they reset the blues and shot them. They may soon be faced with the same option again, and you can be certain that unless someone nerfs titans their choice of who to shoot won't be BoB. Which leaves blues. Razor and MM might be too much of a challenge for them, but ED isn't. They're going to have to attack 'someone' because aside from BoB the number of alliances they're not blue to that hold stations is about 2.
