Now that RK/Smash is out of the picture, will the remaining triumvirate of powers in the North come down from their icy thrones and bring the rain?
Red Alliance has taken Pure Blind and Fade, using it as a beach head into Iron Space, while Goonswarm has effectively taken, though not consolidated Geminate, to use as a beach head into Pure, and soon after, Morsus Mihi.
Once Iron, Pure, and MM fall, Razor will be left alone, and easy pray.
Come on folks, see the writing on the wall, RA/Goons concentric expansion is already enveloping the entrances to the North. Without a solid coalition block to hold them, they will have destroyed the North in a few short months, and will grow to have conquered 2/3rs of eve space.
Get your carriers ready, stock up on the fuel, and start attacking, or you're dead in a nut shell.

I told the leadship of the north 6 months ago at the end of the BoB war that RA and Goons were planning a gaint backstab and they blew me off. I suggested at that time that BoB was not the real enemy of Eve, now they will learn a real lesson.

SMASH betrayed us before I started playing so we are paying them back.
RA just wants some of TRI's moons and the NC was nice enough to not care about that space and let them have it.

This is FACT, we have not move into Pure space. Yeah there might be a pilot or 2, but no Large Goon Fleets has moved into PURE Space at all. For some reason we are seeing PURE fleets moving into our space.
I will not disclose the locations, but 3 GOON ships undocked and set outside station. I was 1 of the 3.
7 PURE Ships arrived into system and at the station. They locked on us but we did not fire, we held fire and remain calm.
10 minutes later a large PURE Gang arrived at the station and all started locking on the GOON ships and Firing.
I docked to change ship.
When I undocked all I saw was wreckage......between 20 to 30 PURE wreckage.
PURE in clearly attacking GOONS in larger fleets now and we are not in PURE Space. PURE seems to be bring the War to us. They are targets if they are in our space.
They are Target when they contnue to move into the war zone. They are Neutral to us.
PURE IS AND HAS ATTACKED US, we have tried time and time again to avoid them but they continue to engage us and we will defend ourself.

There is a cease fire right now dude. Don't worry about pure or their leadership will be mad about it.
To the post above asking about my logic. I never said RK was dead. They are clearly still mining in empire from our killboard.
I was asking what the quoted poster meant by saying his alliance was dead. Some more fights in geminate would be nice since we won't be getting any more from PURE.

This thread fails in the fact that it assumes the Goons call their own shots. They just get to waste isk and time screwing around in Geminate while Red Alliance actually gets quality moons and regions.
The Goons will be told to attack MM and Iron in short order, but they won't be the ones staying in the region. I doubt they'll even get a system in the end. At least that's what Bane thinks, but Darius is far too much the preening beast to see the writing on the wall.

With Smashkill soon to be destroyed, and Ka-tet feeling the love soon the RaGoon political block will set their eyes on Mostly Harmless and IRON for removal from the drone regions. I donÆt like Band of Brothers but from what I remember the situation last time was like this: the north-south-east whatever û all of it , the powerful MC and the rest of the Tortuga enthusiasts û all of them very good PvPers, even those strange creatures from the drone regions û not sure if they count as a plus or a minus. All that was fighting against BoB in Delve. And thenà something happened, the coalition forces just picked up and went home. MCÆs sandcastle got a little messed up û sad, I know. Anyway, I doubt that RA will score a major success against the north. Maybe they will rough them up a bit û vandalize their playground û but they will not destroy them. Why ? Because they have the goons with them. I have this theory about goons û they are like the ôOne-eyed evilö from the Russian tales. The One-eyed evil is rather clumsy and poses no threat on itsÆ own, but it brings bad luck and spoils the mood of everyone around it. ThatÆs really nice when you send it over at the enemy camp. Once you try to conquer the camp however, you find the evil settled in there û it refuses to move and ****s up your luck as well.
Oh and btw, what the hell is that Darius thing ? All I read is Darius this and Darius that û what happened to Mittens ? Forgive my ignorance, I donÆt follow the political changes that often.

See, you're almost there. But over the past year and a bit, RA have been propping up and giving regions away to their friends, at the expense of the Goons. I mean really... are there any english-speaking alliances left in the south at all? Well, those who'll last the summer at any rate.
The Goons can be duped into doing RA's bidding for no benefit, but in the end groups like UNL, -A- and citizens, Solar et al. are just that much more pliable and less egregiously stupid out in the open.

This topic SUCK and sounds like the SMASHKILL whining machine again to save their azz. Well maybe I should be more understanding.........NOT!
This is FACT, we have not move into Pure space. Yeah there might be a pilot or 2, but no Large Goon Fleets has moved into PURE Space at all. For some reason we are seeing PURE fleets moving into our space.
I will not disclose the locations, but 3 GOON ships undocked and set outside station. I was 1 of the 3.
7 PURE Ships arrived into system and at the station. They locked on us but we did not fire, we held fire and remain calm.
10 minutes later a large PURE Gang arrived at the station and all started locking on the GOON ships and Firing.
I docked to change ship.
When I undocked all I saw was wreckage......between 20 to 30 PURE wreckage.
PURE in clearly attacking GOONS in larger fleets now and we are not in PURE Space. PURE seems to be bring the War to us. They are targets if they are in our space.
They are Target when they contnue to move into the war zone. They are Neutral to us.
PURE IS AND HAS ATTACKED US, we have tried time and time again to avoid them but they continue to engage us and we will defend ourself.

I know there is little substance to this post but I just fail to see any semblance of logic behind the suggestions.
Goons/RA going to take on a major alliance while BoB gains strength on their border? This is straight out of the Sun Tzu's Art of War. Who is the mastermind who thought that would be high one someone's to-do list? Even if they managed to pull off a victory, it would come at a massive price and BoB would be able to roll over the victor.
If the motive is for wealth or territory there are dozens of alliances occupying space that would be far easier to bowl over. If they are looking for the challenge then BoB probably represents a bigger military challenge. NC represents a logistical nightmare more than a military challenge. A lot of regions spread over a number of alliances, the coalition amounts to over 10k members, logistically it would be a nightmare to hold that much space against that many players.

Unfortunately for you, Goons were recently faced with two choices, blues or BoB. So they reset the blues and shot them. They may soon be faced with the same option again, and you can be certain that unless someone nerfs titans their choice of who to shoot won't be BoB. Which leaves blues. Razor and MM might be too much of a challenge for them, but ED isn't.
They're going to have to attack 'someone' because aside from BoB the number of alliances they're not blue to that hold stations is about 2.
