Why are europeans paying more than U.S. citizens?

U.S. citizens are charged 14.95 USD for the same service i pay 14.95 EUR for. Maybe you havent seen the news, but 14.95 U.S. dollars = 9.63583629 Euros So could someone from CCP please explain to me why i'm being treated like some piggy bank they can milk for extra cash? Explanations i have already heard and didnt work, just to cut this short: - VAT. There is no VAT on the world that follows the exchange rate of the USD, neither is one thats as high as the difference between the two currencies. There really wasnt anything else yet, so plenty of room for you to try explaining it.

I've been waiting for an answer from them ever since they made me pay in EUR back in 2k4, but they never bothered. Now they also increased the GTC prices which is obviously a workaround of people working around the current discrimination schemes of CCP. This time i'll not let the issue die until CCP gives an answer thats at least half decent.
