Yes I have Mediacom and I have these issues also, usually from 7 - 11pm CST, the DL rate to eve is like 6 b/s, its so slow, now if I an connected it is fine, so if I load the client in the morning and never click off the launcher I am fine all day then, if I try to start the launcer or DL anything from CCP during that time it is so slow would take me days to finish anything. |

Yes is annoying, today it decided to stop downloading or connecting to the client at 2pm CST, it will most likely stay this way till around 11pm cst. Downloaded the patch today, after 4 hours or so it finally said the client was ready, then eve stop responding when I hit play, kept crashing while trying to load the char select screen. ran rescache and 15k files missing, while trying to DL them it just stopped after a few hundred for downloaded.
As with the rest in here, this is the only game I have issues with. What makes Eve online and mediacom non compatible for like 7 or so hours a day?
I did find this article on mediacoms website https://forums.mediacomcable.com/index.php?topic=27832.0 |

Well on mediacoms support forums and talking to a tech, did a tracert and they said that it looks like after it goes to AT&T thats where it seems to be dropping off.
Tracing route to map2.hwcdn.net [205.185.216.10] over a maximum of 30 hops:
1 1 ms <1 ms <1 ms 192.168.1.1 2 14 ms 8 ms 8 ms 10.188.96.1 3 9 ms 13 ms 9 ms 172.30.77.209 4 12 ms 10 ms 11 ms 172.30.32.65 5 24 ms 30 ms 22 ms cr1.attga.ip.att.net [12.122.117.26] 6 26 ms 22 ms 26 ms cr1.attga.ip.att.net [12.122.117.26] 7 25 ms 22 ms 106 ms ggr3.attga.ip.att.net [12.122.141.145] 8 * * * Request timed out. 9 24 ms 26 ms 30 ms 205.185.217.194 10 26 ms 26 ms 23 ms map2.hwcdn.net [205.185.216.10]
Trace complete.
I think we need to just the techs from CCP and Mediacom in a room to figure all this out lol since this only seems to be between these 2 companies. |
