Can you tell us what the problem was please?
There was an issue with packets going missing on one of the routes in between our cluster and virgin. Thanks to the trace routes posted here, we were able to identify the problem route (and a way to address it from our end). Funnily enough, as we were about to make the change at our end, the route started working again and players could connect.

As we all seem pretty quick to complain to CCP when things go wrong, it seems only fair when a problem is quickly identified and reacted too then we should also give a word of praise or two..
