I dont like you.. i dont like the fact that you started the game to hurt others.. i dont support piracy and especially because i was the victim of it so many times.. i hate it. from that order of ideas i am glad that you arent playing anymore.. a veteran pirate is the worst there is..

And on another note, how exactly is scamming hurting someone more than shooting them? It's essentially not.

The OP lied by saying it was his main. The OP is actually a Alt as confirmed in post 258.
Second, OP refuses to let Chribba or any trusted third party verify his isk. He has 40bil, not 330bil. The rest of this isk is phantom isk that he is using as a troll or for fake prizes that go to his other alts to make people think lots of folk won. Simple APi key so we can run it though the Wallet checker will reveal if he has 330bil or 40bil.
Finally, he refuses to have a raffle which is unrigged. This whole raffle is a hoax and he has already picked the winners. The winner is is main account and this way people will think the scammer has left, when in fact, he is playing everyone for fools. His main might be watched via API key (as most corps do) so he cannot deposit his 40bil to his main without people asking where it came from. Hence why this hoax raffle is running.
This is the third time that a FREE lottry/scam has been run by a confirmed scammer for his own agenda. Cally did a free one, macro did another.
If he is genuinly leaving, then why did he lie about saying Reithe being his main when it is confirmed later that it is not? Why refuse to let anyone confirm how much isk he has? Why refuse a real life number baised raffer (like last few digits on a stock exchange etc), in other words, why is he in control of who wins the raffle?

Well from going over the OP's history and reading all his anecdotes, I find him to be a very intelligent and interesting person. This is a sandbox game and the mechanics do very much allow anyone with an "outside the box" frame of mind to manipulate or observe it as a social experiment.
Whether people realize it or not, Riethe and people like him have affected many of us in a positive way. Some of us are more cautious and less trustworthy, as we should be, and have become smarter players & benefited in Eve because of it. Some of us have tried to mimic their success, even if we won't admit it on our mains, and have become richer and more successful in Eve because of it. Subconsciously we may even be more circumspect, less naive and better learn from our mistakes in our real lives and someday benefit because of it.
Fortunately we can't practice these same methods in real life with the same lack of implications that exists in the world of Eve. In the end this is a game, and I can not think of anyone as a terrible vindictive monster void of ethics & moral values because of something they do here; they are simply the better player without breaking the rules. What else is there to say? Checkmate? Few people can ever truly affect the world around them, even in a game. Congrats & I wish you the best whether you continue on your journey in Eve or not. |

The best way for a bank robber to get away with it is to pretend to be dead. Just like this, Riethe wants people to think he left the game, but in fact he is not. API keys could risk exposing who his main is. Most corps/alliances have api keys to check members as standard and somone who might have "claimed" to be poor suddenly gets 40bil in his wallet raises a few questions. Especially when people have a list of a few suspected characters that they beleive are his main.
I state the lottry is a hoax because he lied about Reithe being his main in this thread, it was revealed on page 9 that Reithe is actually a alt and not his main at all.
I state he had not got 330bil because he has only 40bil in his wallet. The reast is phantom money used to divert peoples attention. This is very common to people who understand social engineering.
I state he refuses to use a raffle system that would put winners outside of his control. This is because teh raffle is a hoax and he has no plans on giving his true 40bil wealth to random eve players. The money will go to his main characters
This thread is a hoax and a ploy so the OP can trick people into thinking that he has left. This is the third FREE lottry that was used by scammers as a ploy. NOT FOR PROFIT, but as a PLOY. Currin's lottry - remember that? Remember how people came to defend it since it was "Free"? Turns out it was a Ploy all along to trick the eve public when he finally admitted it. I can go on and on, but here is solution.
1. Have a Third party such as Chribba Verify he has 330bil. If not, then its a hoax/ploy
2. Have raffle winning tickets selction outside the scope of him picking tickets.
Doing the above is 100% proof he is genuine, and anybody genuinly leaving the game has no problems with that. Hassle factor is non-existant as well (just send limited API key to Chribba or make it public so anyone can run wallet checker app on it. Limited api key only sends skills and Wallet status) |

The IGB is NOT secure. If you keep it open on a site that Riethe provides and click that you trust the site, watch out. Your account information will likely be at risk and abused.

Riethe is riethe afaik. That is his main character and always has been. If he has said he has another main account in some market discussions channel, it's only to mess with your head.
Riethe is currently displaying the symptoms of pressing the money cheat code in eve. I'm sure everyone has experienced this in other games, you start buying everything, and then get bored and quit.
If this is a scam, it would be a pointless one... What does he need more isk for?
I believe if he could , he would make you guys wrestle in mud to win the money. This entire thread is probably very amusing to him, people wanting to cut each others throat at the chance of getting some of his isk.
If you guys want some isk I would stay tuned and be ready to jump through some hoops for it.

But you make a good point. People should stay tuned and they WILL jump trough some hoops. Will they get any isk? No.
I have seen Riethe SEVERAL times just make people do stupid stuff and then just say bye and leave.
Unless Riethe changed his ways, which is unlikely, he will basically be doing this for his own amusement. That's it.

Ha, he won't use his IGB to scam people and gain their account info... It would be immediatly recognized his account would be banned and probably any accounts he has assosiated with it, and you would probably get your stuff returned.

Here's hoping this is a scam.
People like the OP are indeed what sets EVE apart from run of the mill MMORPG's with their 'play nice policy''s. Losing even one player entirely dedicated to lying, stealing and scamming would feel as a loss to the unique atmosphere of EVE. Especially now that the Lofty has been nerfed.
