Those that do recognize me mostly consider me a generally bad person and someone with a lack of ethics or moral values. Those that know me realize I just take a different play style than most, and am actually pretty upstanding in real life. I've spent my EVE career stealing money from strangers and false friendships. Even stealing from the rich fellows in the market forums with a fake bond. In my time playing EVE I have only ever ran missions to get standings to enable jump clones. 95% of the missions I paid others to do for me. I've never mined veldspar or any asteriods for any purpose. I have ratted in 0.0 during the start of my career to get some basic funding before I really got into what I really like to do. That's right. I don't touch any of the normal game mechanics. I don't do production, nothing. Nada. I began playing EVE because it was made clear to me that it is a game where crime is allowed. Tricking and stealing from other players is sanctioned within the rules. This is something that is hard to come by in MMO games. Stole loot in an RPG? A GM takes it from you and gives you a warning on your account. A warning that if your actions are repeated, you're no longer allowed to play the game. So I began playing. I began playing with the intent of slowly gaining wealth by doing nothing. Nothing but pressing keys like I am now. Talking to you, your friends, anyone. Since I began playing slightly over a year ago, I have brought my wealth up to over 300 billion ISK, doing nothing but talking. I of course have PVPed quite a bit and put a lot of my ISK to use as gifts for myself and close friends, but other than that it has mostly just been collecting and not been doing much. All of my ISK has been "legitimately" earned in the game and through the forums. No game time cards, no illegal activities--everything within the boundaries of the EULA. All from a fake persona. EVE is an incredibly deep game. The social, political, and economical aspects to it are absolutely fantastic and completely unlike anything else. Unfortunately for me, I have reached a point where the drive to login and play has simply been lost. I always played for the ISK, the wealth. I feel like I have hit a point where it just doesn't make sense anymore. So why not just pay my account with game time cards and come back in the future if I feel like it again? I've done it before. I've taken breaks. I know the feeling of burn out. But this is genuinely different. I think that EVE is a game where you create your own goals and determine your own path. I believe that I have reached the end of my path. It has been a blast, but EVE is not the kind of game that you can play forever. You eventually just run out of things that you find enjoyable and it's time to move on. I believe there are many other people out there doing similar things as myself, and there will always be vast potential for ISK to be earned through the manipulation of others. Social engineering and social experiments fit perfectly into EVE and it has been a thrilling experience. The rush that many of you felt as you entered into your very first PVP fight can be found time and time again as you convince others to give you all their hard earnings. My account still has a bit of time on it, but I will not be playing anymore. And, of course, since I am a megalomaniac: The part of my post that everyone will actually care for! (I hope at least one or two people enjoyed my little life story there.) The link in my signature will very soon become a website. This website will be used as a platform to raffle off all of my ISK. Once I liquidate the rest of my assets it is looking to be nearly 330 billion ISK to be given away. When will it be done? I'm not sure. I want to make it really fun. Riethe was in there quite heavily and being harrased contantly for being a scammer. But to be quite honest he typically had the most coherent and complete posts and typically could keep a very cool head amongst the flames. I have more respect for Reithe as a character more so then some others not needing mentioning. That all being said when the chance arises I will be in the lottery. I can always use extra iskies since I have to be one of the most inefficient players that posts somewhat regulary in the forums. Slade

What do you care? Are you a alt/friend of his? Look at the last 2 free lotterys run by scammers. They were rigged lottry's but free lottries. Heck, even Cally let a random win a small amount to throw people off the scent. Remember cally admitted this after he revealed that the whole thing was a scam. Cally's thread was full of people like this thread, as was macro media's one. In the days of API keys required for corps/alliances, the OP simply wants to retire with his wealth on his main characters. He cannot direct transfer this wealth without creting problems that could reveal his main. So the simple solution is to run a fake raffle, hype it up and have his main win key prizes ( and perhaps a odd random win a lower prize so people do not think its rigged). This way his main can keep the wealth without any questions being asked. If the OP is 100% honest, then insted of a raffle, he should give the isk to, say, Chribba to hold (so Chribba can prove he has 330bil) and then run raffles. The winning raffle ticket will be one baised on, say, the last 3 or 4 digits of a stock exchange or currency fraction on the end of a given day. These are impossible for eve players to control. If the number does not come up, then it rolls over to the next day until someone wins it. Any other lottery system, and the OP is running a rigged raffle just like many scammers before him to launder wealth to his main char without risking revealing him. Nobody wins apart from the OP and nobody losses. This is nothing new and has been done before

Basing the raffe on real life numbers such as stock market index's, or last 3 or 4 digits of currency fractions? (i.e You have no control over who wins)? 2. I.E Hoax lottery to acheive objective, in your case, care free transfer of 40bil you did scam directly to your main. This is a sandbox game and the mechanics do very much allow anyone with an "outside the box" frame of mind to manipulate or observe it as a social experiment. Whether people realize it or not, Riethe and people like him have affected many of us in a positive way. Some of us are more cautious and less trustworthy, as we should be, and have become smarter players & benefited in Eve because of it. Some of us have tried to mimic their success, even if we won't admit it on our mains, and have become richer and more successful in Eve because of it. Subconsciously we may even be more circumspect, less naive and better learn from our mistakes in our real lives and someday benefit because of it. Fortunately we can't practice these same methods in real life with the same lack of implications that exists in the world of Eve. In the end this is a game, and I can not think of anyone as a terrible vindictive monster void of ethics & moral values because of something they do here; they are simply the better player without breaking the rules. What else is there to say? Checkmate? Few people can ever truly affect the world around them, even in a game. Congrats & I wish you the best whether you continue on your journey in Eve or not.

Hassle factor is non-existant as well (just send limited API key to Chribba or make it public so anyone can run wallet checker app on it. Limited api key only sends skills and Wallet status)

This raffle is a hoax that nobody will win. It is to make hype so the scammer can trick his VICTIMS into thinking he has left eve, when in fact, he is giving his money to his main cleanly. He might get Chribba to hand isk out to unknowingly launder it to his main.

Any other lottery system, and the OP is running a rigged raffle just like many scammers before him to launder wealth to his main char without risking revealing him. Nobody wins apart from the OP and nobody losses. This is nothing new and has been done before
