1: Graphics: EnB had better graphics as far as im concerned. Eve definitely looks better though. I'm not too big on some of the ship designs in Eve, but in-game application for the graphics are awesome. so IMHO Eve has much better GAME artists. EnB is higher tech with better designers.. (not saying all eve ships look bad.. but i cant forgive CCP for making my moa look like it does)
2: Controls and menus: I'm still not totally comfortable with Eve's controls. I prefer EnB's over Eve's 100%.
3: Freedom, and immersion: I have played 20 different MMORPGs. I have NEVER played one with as much freedom as this game has. Immersion factor is also number 1 vs. anything ive ever played. this is where this game shines.. you feel like you are really flying around in space with your own ship.
4: Music: Eves is nice, alot is too quiet, too relaxing, etc. I know EnBs wasnt bad, but it doesnt stick in my mind like some of the better songs from eve do("Below the Asteroids").
5: Sound effects: Sound effects are acceptible. Some effects could be improved while others are awesome (missles for example).i will say it seems there istn as much variety as I would like.
6: Learning curve: After 3 weeks and 900K SP i'm starting to feel less like a newb. I doubt I could PvP, but I've got a pretty good grasp on how combat works. I'm still not 100% sure how everything works, but I do learn something new every time I play. The game is massive and so is the learning curve. I don't see how it could be lessened and I'm happy iwth how the game works now. Lots of mystery and lots to discover or learn.
7: Activities/professions: I dont really have a profession. I spent most of my time NPC fighting. Gameplay seems a little weak in this area though.. For the time being I'm OK with it, I think ill get bored with it soon.. but by then I'm hoping I'd be good enough for PvP.
8: Organizational: Corps/Gangs are fine in Eve. I never ganged with anyone in EnB, im a loner.. i have no trouble playing with others in eve though.
9: Are you into PVP? I'm waiting to become a good PvPer. Practicing on NPC rats for the time being. Ultimate goal is to be an awesome PvPer.
10: Legal freedom: I'm cool with concorde so far..
11: World size: It was overwhelming at first, but this is one of the main reasons I keep playing. It would take a long time to explore every sector. I dont see how I could get bored..
12: Single server: I hope one day Eve has 100,000 people all playing on a single server :)
13: Do you belong to a corp yet? yes. an awesome corp.. i doubt i'd still be playing if it wasnt for them.
14: How would you rate EVE overal? it's confusing. big to the point of being overwhelming. it's hard. it takes up alot of time. but I've never been so excited about a game after playing this long. best game ive ever played..
15: do you feel sufficiently welcomed to EVE?. sure..
