Edited by: Serenity Steele on 29/06/2008 11:44:16 Eve-maps.com website now has two "All time" Alliance rankings: - Rank of alliances by Outposts Built - Rank of alliances by Outposts Conquered (excludes ones they built themselves)
This came about from an discussion last weekend about which alliance had built the most outposts, and well .. it just needed a definitive answer.
Hopefully this kills a few more CAOD arguments |

Ah, well what are the odds of using a symbol for that? So we can still have a nice number list instead of having to count towards the nearest one. ------------------------------------------------- Everyone hates goonswarm for one reason or another. ... And they promote****gotism -Zurrar

Yep. If 2 alliances are on equal 3rd place, the next alliance isn't in 4th place, it's in 5th place.

Great job!
However this does not differentiate between outposts conquered and outposts "given" (rented) but it still gives us the bigger picture |

Hmm .. that's a whole new bag of tricks to create. It's possible, with collusion from the alliance leader who is renting. Ie. They'd have to be willing to state that they are renting the outpost, and who they were renting it from.
The flaw being it's entirely optional as to whether or not it's displayed. Some alliances would chose to hide the fact they are renting, and other reveal they are renting, which would make it innaccurate.
The question then becomes; - If it is inaccurate, is it still useful? - Would alliances really show that they were renting?
The two of which make me think: Since rentals are quite a common thing, is that a feature people would like to see introduced to the game in the contract system? ie. Ability to establish contracts for rental of an outpost, moon, access for mining to space etc., and would that need to be shown on the overview in some way to the "landlord" alliance members?
If it is, post it up in the CSM forums!

Renters would be neat to see. Not to mention it'll provide a neat list of targets |

I found the list of all outposts really useful because you could order by weeks and see what outposts have been taken before the sov changes show up necessarily on map.
Be cool if you could put that back in please :D Or maybe have a section "outpost ownership change" as well as sov change

Hmmm... so actually BOB contributed to the development of the nullsec space the most while RA and Goons mostly razed and pillaged only O.o

i like to think that our 12 outposts (tde, bwf, bnd, mj- ngm, 9iz, those two atlas had and the 3 fix had) we conquered isn't a bad accomplishment. It doesn't help that we added about 10 uncontested stations to goonies capture count though. We also built 7, which i think is pretty chill.
of course thats doesn't really take much away from the fact that peoke was talking with his head up his ass. |

There seem to be two tenth legions and two alliances that share the ticker, "RISE." Might want to fix that.
