Edited by: Azelle on 06/07/2008 12:49:31 Same problem here.
Didnt have that much trouble before, but after patch I can hardly run 2 clients at the same time. 1 client I get about 40-50 fps 2 clients I get 1-4 fps each.
p4-3.4GHz 2GB RAM 9600 GT 512MB Vista Pro SP3
@CCP Dev Team Your welcome to contact me via email/ingame if you want more information on how the setup of the 2 clients are

Originally by: Eaon Zlion Any of you running third party software firewalls ? got vista 64 home premium, transferred the licence from the xp machine to this one and watched the frame rate drop from 150 to 30 or so, dumped it and went ok.
Using windoze firewall and netgear router, no hassles so far
maybe try classic clients when running 2 clients ?
Run eve from the same client, ie not 2 separate copies of the folder
AMD Athlon 6000+ 64 x2 Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 512mb 4 x 1 GB fast ram 1 TB hard drive
Ive tried running with/without my firewall ( bullguard ), classic/premium client only think I havent tried is running Eve from 2 seperate folders, Ive always run from the same folder. But when I get the time/space etc Ill reinstall windows all over again and see if that helps. I run spybot/antivirus once each week just to be on the safe side. So after the 1st I should have reinstalled windows/Eve again to see if that helped.

Been toying around a little, and seems the problem really is showing itself when I run into AE or GE mission, the fps will stay stable for the first 1-2 rooms and then drop to 3-7 fps on both clients. Reboot machine start up and the fps will be okay again for 1-2 rooms, rince and repeat.

Originally by: CCP Sputnik can you please check the cache size and set it to high?
With the patch this week we added this fix:
Originally by: Patch Notes The Cache Size option in the ESC menu would always be set to High, no matter what value was selected/displayed, this has now been fixed. Note: Changing the Cache Size in the ESC menu to Low should reduce memory usage at the cost of possible longer loading times. Released 25 June 2008.
which was already released as a optional patch.
I hope we can figure out what the issue is.
Dear mister or miss CCP Dev would it be possible that we could get a little responce again in this thread your talking about hoping to figure it out but without responce from you or someone else from the Dev team we cant tell you what you need/want to know about this. So please respond
