I bought a 120K m3 container... but now the question is: how I do deploy it? And once filled with ore how I do bring it back in a station again? I do not own a huge barge ship... any suggestion?
thanks, e. |

Short answer, you can't.
Freight containers are not deployable. Giant Secure is the biggest you can deploy/anchor, so you're looking at 3900m¦ max per box.
The Freight Containers are basically for grouping/sorting loads on freighters. They are also the only ships that can fit them. Also, since freighters can't scoop or deploy items unless in range of a POS, they are not able to do what you are wanting.
THOUGHT: Not sure, but a rigged Rorqual could hold a single freight container, and it doesn't have the deploy/scoop restrictions that the freighters have. Perhaps that is the key here. Never tried it but it would make for a nice working storage space while doing the compression runs.

To be honest, if a Rorqual is present then I assume there are many Hulks/Macks/Whatever's present as well all dumping ore into cans. The cans themselves provide adequate temp storage as far as I've seen.

I can't afford a Rorqual... but my question is can you dock in a station while "beam tracking" a "can" (27500 m3)?
If I can do that I have my problem solved... but if not, then, which cheapest hauler should i look at?

No.
All tech 1 barges are cheap (<1.5m).

The solution to your problem is to team with someone else to HAUL your ore to the station. Best best is someone you know in real life so you don't have to worry about getting scammed
