you need a recording known from pre theft times. Most people can get a stand-in if they do not want to sound like themselves.

This sounds plausable, as something similar happened with Antares Frontier (of the Fifth Race alliance), it was all "evacuate AZ3, sovs about to be lost, here put all your stuffs into the corp hangar labelled in cans with your names and you'll get it all back when we get our new 0.0 station"
Then there was a lot of waiting whilst we were urged to mine ice hard to pay for the needed poses for our new space.... and that the ships containing all our stuffs were not in system
Then it was "omg, we've been robbed, heavily"
I left corp, like the others that had lost their stuffs, with a tiny fraction of the isk value of what had "gone missing", and a promise from the two main suspects (in my eyes) Toqua and AlCapone that I'd get all my stuff back - ha, they were back in AZ3 a week later like nothing had happened.
Since then they seem to have developed a problem answering eve mails....
That said, I genuinely get the impression thae Darth Solo is straight up, and I do not think he's the same guy as the s****bucket who ripped off all those pilots.... those sort of lazy typing habits are more a symptom of "yoof of today" or the "txt generation", and are far too common imho to be anything close to proof of this sort of size of con.
And, in the words of Forrest Gump, "that's all I have to say about that"
