When its laggy, largely unplayable and very little fun you need to "win" the engagement otherwise you soon see numbers tailing right off, while I expect bob will be able to keep their numbers up for some time to come I think that they will quickly see the pets being a bit "too busy to come along tonight, but tomorrow I promise I will be there".
Mind you with fewer numbers the MAX thing would actually be a lot more effective.

Sorry to urinate on all the anti-bob chips, but I really don't think losing 40 BS to a DD is going to do much to stop the 300+ capship steamroller doing 'its thing'.

I missed the part of the op where they steamrolled anything?! What exactly did they do with that capital blob besides get e-warped, lagged and burned isotopes?! Must have been an awesome couple of hours though...seeing that giant gang...doing nothing...
