1. I know there are instances where the DG/caldari towers are better and you can run 1 complex and 1 simple reaction at the same time and I was strongly considering this when I started. The reason I used the Shadow towers was that I decided that the 100% extra silo space, where I only have to empty my silos every 4 days instead of less then every other day, was worth more to me then the extra isk I could make off of the 3 or so reactions where the DG alternativ is worth it.
2. They all have 3 hardeners and a few guns and disruptors on the ones with spare cpu. Thinking of anchoring a few more guns on each.
3 and 4. I wont me doing more then 2 of any type of reaction. If I have 10 towers (6 doing 2 of each of the high end complex reactions and 4 doing 2 of each of the 4 simple reactions) this would amount to investing about 20b in the materials alone minimum, then I would need fuel and POSes and POS structures for those 10 POSes aswell. For the POSes and fuel I would need another 8b. This would leave about 12b for the lower end POSes. Putting up 1 of each of the lower end complex reactions (which still make a fair profit) would probably result in about 6b for the towers and maby 2b for fuel leaving 4b to either put up a few extra POSes or buy more materials to last me an extra day.
5. Atm I use mostly the obelisk and sometimes a occator. If we need another freighter Lady Riona is about 4 hours of training away from flying one (Adv. spaceship command lvl 1 and freighter 1). I usually sit with my alt webbing the freighter but atm that account is inactive so now I just sit ready with my none corp main incase.
If local pirates pose that significant a threat, and you have friends that can field a capital fleet, I'd recommend you teach em a lesson and reduce the threat at the same time. Do a grand tour of the system and take out their towers if they have any. It'll pay off in the long term and save you time worrying about whether or not its safe to jump your freighter in. That should teach 'em

This kinda seriously hurts the profitability of the operation though, as you need to maximise ISK from each tower. I was alluding to have Caldari towers in pairs where you have 1 simple and one complex, and just cross-feed the intermediates and get double the output from the complex ones, but the issue is you'll have nothing to arm them with (and torps don't work when in reinforced as there's no cpu). I know you're doing this for the high ends where this is a little different.

Try and diversify the number of materials and have as many towers as you can.

Bolded what I was concerned about, otherwise you'll lose your freighter on a weekly basis. Though try and get a Jump Freighter if you can, as they rock for chain logistics. 
In fact I wouldn't mind you adding 4b to the IPO just to get one.

Well accually I have made quite a bit more with trades but paying for 3 accounts and losing ships worth 300-1000 quite often takes its toll on your wallet.
and if you read the post you would see that I am asking for up to 27.5b since I am supplying the rest on my own. If they choose to invest less I will go with that.

I may consider buying some shares if the tower defences are upgraded. As it stands, the defense batteries are disabled on 2 of your towers, another has just a couple of railguns, and the last doesnt have any batteries or even shield hardeners. You need to take more precautions defending your assets if you want people to have enough confidence in the venture to invest, and more production downtime due to towers going into reinforced will just harm your profits. That being said, amoen system seems to be in a pretty quite corner of low sec space (yes, I used a locator to find out where your project was situated  )

All three accounts involved have between them the neccessary skills to run a multiple POS operation with reactions. It would appear through transaction logs that one account is used a both a hauler alt and pvp as the single toon has both capital freight and capital dread and gunnery skills. At least one toon on the three accounts involved has the skills neccessary to defend a single POS seperated from the dreadnaught toon. This obviously does not include the operations in said space with OPs ship mates as well, of which all have a recorded history (through eve search) of capital PvP operations.
Verified through both eve search and various killboards for the toons, corporations, and related toons corporations involved, supporting the OPs claim on being with alliance warfare, POS babysitting, etc....
Transactions logs check out fairly solid. There is a running history of POS fuel purchases, T2 component sales, reaction sales, and misc loot sales from the various PvP activities each account has. The single account holding Quhegan appears to the main of the OP, supporting the bulk in both wallet and transaction sales. One concern is the lack of trade skills, limiting order amounts. However the bare minimum is there to support the number reactions planned in the IPO. Most of the other account logs are comprised of purchases for various faction mods and implants support items. Two of the accounts have records of 90 day GTC purchases back in December of 07.
There are some questions of account balances however. Total wallets of every account involved at the snapshot is approx 1.3bil. Given the purchase transaction amounts this puts the total wallets at approx 3.4 bil.
None of the accounts involved has a known scammer alt nor are any of the corporations on any of my blacklists.
Of all the accounts involved the one with the toon Quaren is the most active on the forums. In April it was discussed of a Nyx loss regarding Z-K in Corp Alliance Disc
Of all the accounts none has a total character history dating to earlier than 6/12/04
Confirmed the location of the towers and their current setups.
This Audit makes no recommendation of investment and is merely presented to verify the claims of the OP and for investors to weigh in their decision to invest or not.

After looking at the ships names flown by the CEO, I have serious doubts that Lady Riona is anything more than just another account. I have to agree name is cool.
First of all I would like to say that the POS mining operation is there but that doesn't mean much. Based on the accounts related to us so far ("friends" defending POS against 4 capitals and crap) I'm pretty sure what we have here is a PVP corporation (49 members) business run by a select industrial core that created a New Moon Industries. (that also explains why they've gathered 13B isk while trading with limited orders number).
This means they are pretty independent and could not care less what investors think of them after they get their money.
To name a precedent Wylker developed capital ships capabilities for Red Alliance based on a similar event.

If you read the business proposal and the replies related to it on the first page with any comprehension you would have seen that this was the case from the start. And that the New Moon is a newly created operation from what they had been doing internally anyway for the express intent of expansion.
For my own peace of mind I also visually inspected the POS chain.
Again... I'm not saying it's solid or not or am I saying yes invest in this it's golden....I merely confirmed what was said by the OP.
Up to everyone else to make the decision one way or the other. |
