Trinity updated ships and stations, but there are still a huge list of things that haven't been changed yet:
*Weapon Effects
*Planets
*Backgrounds
*Mission Objects
*Explosions
*POS Objects
*Asteroids
*Gate Effects
*Sounds
*Missing Gallente Station interior
*Missing Outpost station interior
*Wrecks
*cans
and I'm sure there is other stuff I can't think of, CCP where are the rest of the Trinity updates, I need more pretty graphics to hide the lag behind.

Not forgetting that if you're using the "premium" graphics package, you'll still see Agents in space in ships displayed with "classic" graphics ...

they don't lag any more then the classic, any graphical lag is the fault of your computer, not the CCP's servers.

Errr, what? I don't quite see what running missions has to do with it.
To be clear, I'm talking about COSMOS Agents, who are seen out in space and noting the disparity between the graphics of player piloted ships displayed on my screen and the graphics of ships displayed on my screen which are piloted by Agents when using the premium graphics package.
My point being, if we have these shiny new graphics why can't we use them wherever else the same models show up from the start? It just seems odd.

Wow, the 'lag' whiners are getting so bad that they are starting to turn down nicer graphics in a video game.
You'd think everyone in this game, or even a majority, engaged in fleet battles (with shitty computers) and was compelled not to turn their settings down if their machine couldn't keep up.

But what about the people who wont/dont/ use ambulation, besides the quafe lady interior was uber cool, and at any rate you still have to look at your ship inside the station anyways, hence the need for the docking bay i guess you could call it.

Fix the center-of-ship axis bug with Premium graphics.
(@CCP if you don't know what this is, blame it on your bugtracking system which auto-rejects half of all meaningful bug reports)
Also make stations the same size with Premium graphics and ghetto graphics.
(@CCP if you have no clue what I'm talking about, see above)
Then drop the ghetto graphics, because the above two issues have shown that backwards compatibility is bad. Don't make that mistake again with Ambulations.

I've got some Meccano I inherited from my Father (I'm in my 40s) that was made during WW2 and the thin plate sections are made from cardboard because metal was in short supply. It's not got any sharp edges.

If it lags, buy a new computer (l2 job) or turn on classic if you're in a fleet. Anyone with a newer graphics card can run premium, lag free. Just because you want this game to have dated WoW style graphics dosen't mean the rest of us do.

umm no just no. If they do people like me will Quite. I will not be forced to one account :) bad enough I had to quite EVE until they sorted some of the memory leaks! Which I go to reboot even on classic.

I would have to disagree with you, simply because the craptastic graphics are the only way to get any decent fps in a fleet engagement. However, they are very ugly by todays standard, ghetto even.

I don't know... currently an 8gb ram, 9600 gts, quad core 2.66 Ghz desktop is 1300$ with 20 inch screen at best buy. and this is before the release of the new CPus coming out after Christmas.
meaning for about 300$ you should be able to run neve no issues now and after chistmas well 400 will get you a rig that won't even blink at running eve.

I like the classic client. I run it on all my systems but to be honest what is the difference between premium and classic when all you are looking at is a list of ships/asteroids/rats/scan results/items/market orders/trajectories/speeds, and little green and red boxes floating around?
I do find myself clicking over to premium though when I'm about to start up a wicked session of station spinning.
