If you actually had a clue about what went on during that time you may think differant. Suffice to say there was a smear campaign and mass petitioning from a certain group within eve... they got their way - but your ignoring the fact that i always used my main even though accused of using so many alts (well, i have two main alts which people know are me)
But, i still think this is a good idea - Eve is a harsh universe where there are strict rules that you must abide by to survive, and sometimes that doesnt even keep you alive but the community has become harsher... its a patheticly sad place to post at the moment - you have to protect your post from the spammers/alts and if enough post the mods lock it rather than banning the people doing this and stopping the cause at its roots

To Mods/CCP - We cannot moderate our forum, this is simple, we do not have the ability to do this and we require the community team to enforce more stringent rules, anyone who likes to use this forum for its origional purpose realises this.
I may get flamed for this but LoTRO's community forums are a place of pure bliss compared to this one. People have respect for the moderators... People like posting, Tabula Rasa also has a very mature community (WoW should be destroyed imo) - EvE its known as the black sheep of the entire lot, these forums are worse than WoWs and thats saying something!
Anyway, im rambling...

You're right about LOTRos forums being practically a late spring meadow compared to eves early january sleat while having an earthquake. It's a lovely forum to post in, i don't think i've ever even seen a troll there.
