They even changed the BS
Abaddon lost 14,2 mio kg Mass, and dropped from 110 m/s to 89m/s sub-warp.
It looks like every ship is changed, you have to try each ship with a new setup.

A ship like that won't be suitable for most pvp combat even after the changes and for the same exact reasons that it isn't suitable for it now. Maybe if you put both of them on there. Otherwise, no.

Blog told us this a little bit ago, no surprise.
I'm curious about the pos modules Stasis Web Battery and War Scramble Battery; I wonder if they will be changed to be like their module cousins.

Vagabond with 2 overdrives and T2 MWD goes 3100 m/s (no rigs, no implants, no nothing).
MWD turns off after cycle has completed when scrambled. Reactivation delay is 10 seconds.

Thing is, you need the mwd speeds. People don't use mwd to speed tank for the most part. They use them to get from one point to the other faster, or to dictate range. That hasn't changed. You will still need mwd on most pvp ships.
Thats teh whole point. People will use Cov ops and tactics now to fight rather than mass chance and hit MWD for 100% resistance to missiles etc.
Smaller forces can now stage hit and run driveby's to kill off blobs slowly. Blobs would need lots of cov ops to be able to counter it insted of a stupid 13k/sec crow that instantly means everyone is on the enemy within 10 seconds.
nano killed off a lot of fleet and small gang tactics and these tactics are now returning. Fantastic work CCP and Afterburner > MWD

has anyone tried the new scramblers? are they worth using now or having to get that close to tough when not in an arazu?
the arazu/rapier combo is even more death to fast ships since you not only will be webbed but your mwd will be dead.

Indeed. I'll be putting a scrambler on my ranis in place of a disruptor. Oh and no, this won't become the cookie cutter setup.

Exactly. If you have a fast ship that can track, you dont need a web anymore. This makes for some interesting setups. 2 medslot assault frigs with nos will be more deadly to larger slower ships than ever before.
Im going to dust off my wolf, until I can fly Taranis anyway.

Ok it seem u guys arent understanding the function of the scrambler to the MWD.
It doesnt just turn it off, it waits until the cycle is over and then it disables it for 10 secs.
So for a blasterboats i dont see the problem, you still get into range, the same as b4, you web them, they web you, sure the web is nerfed but so what its still the same.
If the target ship had a base speed faster then you it could still get away even with the 90% web, if he also webed you.

Scram & Web. Basically the taranis hasn't changed at all, all the other ceptors just got screwed.

I have field tested a Cerberus and Vagabond with an afterburner fitted. I have to report, both were much more survivable in web range - between tank, and web not being insta death, they did very nicely. Getting neuted was still a nuisance, but when your cap is a bit more robust, you do a lot better. -- Crane needs more grid 249km locking? |

Kill speed.. ok that sucks but my tactics can deal.
Killing the align time? Why was that needed?
Id also like to add... you will never make it back to a gate with an afterburner sot he mod is esentially useless. You are better off with the one burst the mwd will get you. Webs will stop you dead using an ab.

I think the concept is to use inertial stabs and or nanofibers to increase agility

I'll be interested to see if our tiny caldari ships gain any more mass. Why is my raven, which appears to be half the volume of a Mega actually HEAVIER?! People keep using the excuse of "the power generation . . . blah blah blah"
In reality it's the fact that every caldari ship is built around a core of depleted uranium and all fixtures, furnishings and consoles are constructed out of tungsten.
