You scored 86% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 93% Expert! You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

English isn't my native language (I'm Swedish).
* 68/100 You scored 100% on Beginner, higher than 68% of your peers. * 54/100 You scored 100% on Intermediate, higher than 54% of your peers. * 76/100 You scored 100% on Advanced, higher than 76% of your peers. * 92/100 You scored 100% on Expert, higher than 92% of your peers.
There were a few tricky questions, but nothing too tough. ...Oh how I envy school systems where they actually have multiple choice questions. It's far more difficult when you can't weigh the different alternatives against each other. Meh. "H÷gskoleprovet" wasn't much more difficult either (which is why it's flawed). ______________________________________________ -You can never earn my respect, only lose it. I think this goes to show you that it is not that we can't spell or use grammer or understand it when we read it, but that we are hyper-active typers who game for the better part of our lives; therefore, we do not incline to indulge in the academic style of writting indicative of other wordly persuits, such that it is not an accurate assumption that we are inferior in some way but rather more concerned with getting our points acrossed through the emotional bagage of applying ourselves to a game that takes up more time in our lives than life itself which lends us to a behavior set that constitutes a writting style that can be understood by like minds, and for that, I would say that the original poster is a noob.

English is a funny old beast. Its been chopped and changed and bastardised so many thousands of times through the centuries that most scholars would agree it doesn't deserve its own name.
And now in the age of instant communication across, between and inside all nations of the earth, a few languages are becoming de facto standards in its emerging communities.
Eve-Online is one such community, English is the language in question.
Experience of this community over the last 5 years has taught me that perfect English rarely achieves its intended goal, and in fact in a social setting such as this a more relaxed version of English is sometimes required to allow many different people to understand the same words.
Mostly this means decoupling syntax and grammar and assigning them a lower relevance than context.
Perhaps the op has found himself or herself embarrassed somewhere along the line by slipping into bad habits due to this forum. Write for your audience, not for the language!

Signing in with the 100/100/100/87 club. I wasn't entirely happy with 'awhile', which (irrationally) strikes me as rather American, and 'a while' really isn't much better. I prefer 'for a while'. I'd argue that out of the available answers for that question, it's the purest. Zzz research towers Direrie NEW: Liekuri

Originally by: Chomin H'ak So, after MANY failed posts, my eyes are in pain. You're gets switched with your, lose with loose, and countless others. I had thought the average IQ in this game was 140. Just goes to show that IQ tests are meaningless in the face of 'common' knowledge. Your posts are showing your intelligence, people.
Now, I realize that not everyone has English as their first language. In fact, many English people don't know their own language. But come on! It's not that hard to put a little thought into your posts.
A poorly written post tells others that your opinion is not important. How? By placing words in the mind of the reader that DO NOT COMPUTE.
For instance: You're fit is stupid. Their's no way a 1600 mm plate will fit on a Navitas. You loose.
(I stop reading once I encounter the first misspelled word, personally.)
And here's how I'll prove or STFU... (though many will advocate the STFU part)
The test:
If your native tongue is English, take this test. Then post you results.
Now, go back to school.
tldr version: Don't read this, you're obviously not capable of that much comprehension.
You scored 86% on Beginner, higher than 13% of your peers. 6/100 You scored 79% on Intermediate, higher than 6% of your peers. 40/100 You scored 87% on Advanced, higher than 40% of your peers. 67/100 You scored 87% on Expert, higher than 67% of your peers.

You have a good understanding of intermediate and advanced commonly confused English words, getting at least 75% of the intermediate and advanced level questions correct. The puzzling part of your test result is the fact that you only answered 75% or less correct in the beginner section. Fascinating.
So wait, I did worse on the easier things? I am very confused.

Heheheh, not bad for only high-school level English, from a S. Florida school even. (Class of '83). Most of my mistakes can be attributed to poor/lazy typing as opposed to actual ignorance of English.

I'd say this test is easier in some ways for non-native-english speakers because a lot of these things we aren't taught whereas when you are learning a language you would be taught these things.
