I'd use it to get the carrier (plus skills) that my newly created corp need to get into low sec :D

I'd pay for some corp assets I'll want once I start recruiting. A freighter, for instance. Also some POS components for a research/copying capacity in Empire.

edit: my first response here was a  , but I suppose the logistical support is important if you're doing Low Sec POS ops.

I saved and saved to get my Archon with navy fitting .. found out that I have absolutely no use for it and sold it for a 300m profit :)
Best thing to use cash on is to get BPOs .. will never lose value and gives you something to strive for (complete portfolio).

id use part of it to build my dream ship - 150 m
id use another part of it to buy a few skills i want - 200 m
id invest/save the rest in an alternate corporation bank with only me to access it. - rest.

1. Buy t2 PvP gear in Jita
2. Sell in highsec nearist to warzones.
Torrinos is next to EC-P, where people get ganked silly in the north. Agil is nearist station in high sec to HED-GP, which also has a gruesome reputation.
Those two systems are good for new traders(agil and torrinos that is, do not enter Hed-gp/EC-P unless you have a deathwish!).
Start with transport ships and move to freightors asap. Beware of carrying enough loot to make you a gank victim.
Read COAD forums to see where wars are going on and look at the map to find high sec nearist. You should be able to turn 1.5bil into 10bil in a couple of months.
Then you enter the "hundred bil" players games.

I think I'd tie it up in assets. Having that much money not working for me would annoy me.
