Didnt catch this battle, but good to see the few NC posters had a good time, TRI, make sure you watch what you say, no need to be stupid about this. Was a good fight, hope for more good ones, no need to start tooting all our fuggin horns tho.

(youll further notice that around 50 NC pilots show as being on tri's side of the engagement for whatever reason, with one exceed showing on their side)
So whats the difference? In both cases the defending body knew the other was coming...im both cases capitals were present and in both cases Tri was outnumbered.
Clearly being in nanos cannot be stopped and flying it ensures victory...right? I mean, pilot skill and experience surely has no place in determining a ship/setup effectiveness.
Don't mind me, just iritated that out of 130 kills, and all the fighters i had out...my gangmates managed to remember to use them twice O_o
Also, ignored here, ignored in game dev forum, doesnt really matter :P

But as for the fight we just had, it was a great fight, lag was there but I've known it much worse.

Is Tri making a move while they are occupied with BoB, doing what a BoB pet does or just being a general pest? 
I am curious as to Tri's intention. If you just wanted to fight there would be countless alliances not involved in a major conflict at present, why do you only attack the NC when they are occupied in another war?

There's a fairly simple answer to that question.
The NC can muster quite a considerable force (in numbers) more so than we could manage. Yes we have excellent skilled pilots but that can't counter a 400-500 man blob, which from past experience is exactly what the NC would bring to fight us.
In a situation where sov is threatened the NC is not concerned with getting good fights they are concerned with stopping the attack, and if you bring enough, you can do just that. I can understand that way of thinking too, it just depends on your priorities.
The Bob attack in the North did provide us with an opportunity that does not come around every day in the North which is to take on a Northern entity, challenge sov and not get every man and his dog coming down on us.
Last night the NC decided to send a fleet to try and help Hydra and kudos for them on it, and also respect for jumping into us, believe us we respect that kinda attitude but they nearly paid a heavy price for doing it (vfk!)
I'm sure Bob will be keeping a very close eye on the NC and if they come in force to help Hydra again they may not be so lucky next time.
So it comes down to a decision for the NC, help Hydra and lose Deklein to Bob. Or defend the Deklein station let Hydra space fall and maybe try and deal with us later as I'm no doubt sure the NC regard us as the lesser of 2 evils (and if I had Bob on my doorstep I'd think the same too!)
