Originally by: Elana Vaho There is something buggy with the Outpost Track page. I have 4 towers linked to an outpost. When I view the outpost I get good numbers except for liquid ozone and heavy water. It says that I need 12.070.000 LO and 5275 HW per hour, when it should be 398 and 130. I have no idea why I get these kind of numbers.
I'll look into that.

Using the api or manually? How many towers? There really is no reason it should keep going up unless you reach an insane amount (as in 10 digists). The API has been buggy lately, i'm going to add some debug stuff and xml caching so I get a better idea of why random tower fuel levels are going to zero.

API. ~100 of them. API xml shows all of them but no all are imported.

Exactly why do you want to use the Outpost Track page? As it is now it seems to group together your towers so you can see the total fuel required per hour. That is great! You can type in what you have in the outpost and see how many days and hours left. The downside I see is that you have made this outpost track to calculate the 'Online' time from when the outpost was last updated. As if my towers are using the fuel in the outpost, and not their own fuel.
My situation, which I believe alot of us have, is that I have a bunch of towers that I need to fuel. I take fuel from the outpost and fuel the towers. After all towers are fueled I type in the new fuel levels that are left in the outpost so I easily can see what we are low on, and how long we will last on it next time I fuel.
I dont really understand why the outpost track calculates fuel levels from when it was last updated.

I get exactly the same, hit install and it just hangs for ever and ever and nothing happens on the db level.
* Current PHP version: 5.2.8 (Needs to be greater than 5.1.2) * Your CURL Version: 7.15.5 * DATABASE OK - Version: 5.0.67-msl-usrs-icd1-log
IE7 or Firefox 3.x doesn't matter, hangs on both browsers and not just on my current computer but my main and work as well.
Hosted @ www.icdsoft.com, don't think they have limitations cuz so far i've managed to run just about anything.

This new one doesnt work properly yet.
My issues: 1) Admin account doesn't get created on install. 2) Adding a tower returns the error "No ID Defined" 3) Putting my API info in returns this error "Error: String could not be parsed as XML"
Anyone got a link to the old 2.10 version? I just want a version that works, I dont care if its the beta

New versions are always better I know, but is there anywhere I can perhaps get an older version of this amazing software to try to install?
EDIT: Found beta3 on your download page, will try that.

Is anyone using this application running mySQL on a different port?
My mySQL server runs on port 3307 and if I use localhost the hostname I have to put is "localhost:/tmp/mysql5.sock"
Looking a bit into the code of the project it seems that install.js puts all the parameters into a query string and I'm just wondering if the : and / are messing things up.

Yep I used the installer. Typed in the boxes and no admin acount was created. All the other tables seem to be populated. Do I have the run the install from the ingame browser? (I did it in firefox). Now the API is back up, whenever I put my api key in (even the full access one) it sits there fore a minute and gets a blank page on "admin.php?action=getcharacters" . The eve API log says that it accessed "/account/Characters.xml.aspx"
Anyways I still get the "No ID Definded" error when I go to add a tower. Any ideas?

Sounds great! I'm updating my version now and see how it goes.
On another note, I added the new alchemy reactions and the unrefined materials to my database with their current IDs from EVE and it works brilliantly. I exported the two tables where I added the new materials and the reactions. material_static reaction_static

The amount of LO and HW per hour on the Outpost Track still shows way off. 15 million LO and 11k HW for 6 towers. LO should be 397 per hour, and the "online" timer shows 2D 23H left. When I run the numbers myself that online timer burns LO at a rate of 3430 per hour. Same goes with HW. The other numbers are perfect.
For Outposts that are not tracking any towers at all everything shows as 0, except for LO and HW where this field is blank.
This is now fixed as well in SVN, it was displaying the pg and cpu and not the heavy water and ozone.

These should be warnings, not errors. Never had any of my installations stopped because of these warnings. (Not that it's not better to ensure default values of course).

no, not really, never had a problem with that page. look for a file probably called error_log and see if that gives any clues.

EDIT: The online timer for oxy isotopes seems missing too. It shows the right topes required per hour put 0h online time even when I have added topes.
The number in () correct? The actual number should be total current pg / total posible pg and then multiply that by total posible required ozone. What types of towers and how many are making up your numbers?

Did they change the API so it doesn't work any more?

No, you just need to download a new class.pos.php from the svn and replace your copy in /includes. You can get the latest from [Here]. If you want to see every update, download a SVN client, I use tortoisesv which integrates into the windows shell. Be aware that I occasionally break the copy in SVN, test it on a test version before updating your real copy.

Found some typos on class.pos.php which made the online timer for Oxygen isopotes to show as 0 on the Outpost Track page. For some reason your variable for total required oxygen isotopes is misspelled everywhere as oyxgen, except for the 2 places I found that corrected the online timer.
Row 5317: $calc_oxygen_iso = (floor($current_oxygen_iso / $total_req_oxygen_iso)); Change to: $calc_oxygen_iso = (floor($current_oxygen_iso / $total_req_oyxgen_iso));
Row 5370: if($total_oxygen_req__iso>0) { Change to: if($total_req_oyxgen_iso>0) {
I'm still trying to track down the LO and HW bug on the same page.

I found the LO and HW bug on Outpost Track page.
Your idea is to calculate (total_current_pg / total_pg) * total_req_ozone The problem with this is that the variable total_pg is not the actual total PG from all towers. Instead it's the total PG from the last tower in the loop.
In my situation with 6 towers the calculation was like this: (15,440,000 / 2,500,000) * 411 = 2538
As you can see the total_current_pg is correct as you calculate this every time in your loop from every tower, but the other total_pg variable you are not, and is the variable you use for each tower instead of adding them together. 2,500,000 PG is from my medium amarr tower which was last in the loop.
By simply adding a new total variable where you add the towers max PG and CPU, change the two calculations I get it to work now. Even if they are a tiny bit off the real numbers when I add it by hand its not that much.

Ok nevermind. I figured out all my problems, but now I have a new one. When I added all my towers it is only listing one of them under the production window. I have silo, moon miners, and reactors on several towers, not just the one.

have you added silos, reactors, or moon miners and configured them on other towers? Production page is considered very experimental. I've considered removing it.
