Da'Neth Gallente 256 FREELANCERS FREELANCER ALLIANCE	Posted - 2009.04.08 21:59:00 - [421] I am running 3.0 beta 6 and haveing a problem with towers that are in a sov 3 system all pos in non sov systems are working fine the tracker is showing this Isotopes /315 / 138946 / 18d 9h Liquid Ozone / 101(105) / 36842 / 15d 4h Heavy Water / 7(105) / 3378 / 20d 2h Oxygen / 18 / 9065 / 20d 23h while ingame its showing this Isotopes / 338 / 138946 / 17d 3h Liquid Ozone / 113 / 36842 / 14d 2h Heavy Water / 113 / 3378 / 17d 14h Oxygen / 19 / 9065 / 19d 21h in the tower info area its showing the proper sov, cpu, and pg lvls and I have the pos set up right so I am thinking that this has to do with sov so if any one know how I can fix this it wuld be nice thanks Originally by: T'Laar Bok SLI is overrated. I have inserted my api and it then just goes to a white screen. I then open up the pos tracker and I am presented with the login screen. But no matter what I type in the user/password field it says invalid. In the setup it says enter your e-mail address and a password for setting up admin access. So two questions: 1) after entering the api does was it to do something other than just go to a blank screen which is probably why the admin login doesn't work? 2) is the admin user/password the email address and password that I entered on the config screen or was it to e-mail me a user/password? John Blackthorn Foundation Sons of Tangra	Posted - 2009.04.10 17:48:00 - [425] I ended up registering my ingame user name, using an mysql editor and modifying the permissions of my user. It allows me to log in using my user/pass that I setup through the in game browser. API field is blank so when I go to add one I get the same error as above. It just says "selecting chacter" times out and goes to a white screen. Thoughts?

I figured out I had downloaded a just 3.0 version and then applied the beta 3. re-reading yet again I see beta 6 is out. So I pulled that and I can't get anywhere with it. You do the install.php it says enter the databaes table database user/pass etc etc. I type that in hit the check button says ok, Hit the write button says ok. Hit create tables, and that is it. I switch over to the server and see that the tables have been written. I have even gone through and pretty much really screwed over the permissions and set everyone has full access. Bad I know but damit I wanted to see if something would work. But it doesn't. <-- Frustrated and pulling hair out. I don't blame the code I know there something just not set right but for the life if me I don't know what. Windows Server 2000, latest php, latest mysql. (I Upgraded to latest today though I really wasn't that far back on my versions).

No, thats unrelated and for adding an api key to the tracker. You can also do it in the admin panel as well as the rest of the steps. Also, you should be using 3.0 beta 6, if you open up includes/class.pos.php line 29 should say: * @version SVN: $Id: class.pos.php 238 2009-04-09 06:04:10Z stephenmg $ If its 234 or higher thats fine, just download the newest version I posted a few post back. If its lower then 235 or your line 29 doesn't look like that, your running an older version and need to update. POS-Tracker 2.1.0 Hosting

When I put in the quantity of charters, it always says 0 in the next screen. Have you tried turning the xml caching onto see if its correctly downloading? Actual errors would be helpful as well. Is that my issue?

I see the tables writen to the hd but it does not procede any further along the install menu's. This is beta 6. I did get past this in beta 3. But could be that I didn't have curl. For some reason, out of 10 towers in a system, 2 are missing from the POS Tracker. It isn't the first towers or the last towers. They weren't even dropped consecutively. For some reason though, they refuse to show up. We've reloaded API director keys, regenerated full keys, etc but have had no luck in fixing it. Any pointers on where to start troubleshooting this issue? I updated to the latest files from the SVN this evening. I created the api directory in the cache folder but so far no file has been created there. Help!

You should be able to just count <row> elements and compare that with the number of towers you actually have. Its different for every system and windows users need to use something else completely. If i'm reading it correctly, try asking your host where the CLI version of php is. If its your own box, you may have to look around for it. If that doesn't work, try making sure the files work in a web browser, page will probably be blank. It means one of two things, Your using a limited api key instead of a full or the key does not belong to a ceo or director. I would need more information to figure out how to work around it if even posible. It is actually rather low, normally you will see at least 16m and up to 1 gig is allowed after mysql 4.
