Bringing a BS to a BC fight is just meh.
You never said it had to be a BC just you would like to use one. A Geddon will melt them with ease whereas a harby will be sitting there for ages working through their recharge (assuming standard purge/spr fit)

Raven, 6 Torps with Mjolinr, 2x Neuts, 2x BCU and .. well lets face it you don't need much of a tank against a Drake, but it will melt pretty fast.
A passive Drakes big weakness is its sig radius is the size of a small moon (because of shield rigs/extenders), Torps will hit for full damage every time.

2. Fly Amarr
3. Large Shield Extenders, Shield Power Relays, Purger rigs, maybe an Invulnerability Field or Photon Scattering, so it has loads of shield HP and a ridiculous shield recharge rate.

... take that gankfit harbinger. And then bring a friend. The harbinger has about the same dps as a passivetank drake does recharge, so that friend can be in anything from a frigate to another battlecruiser, as long as they do at least about 50dps

a Gank Fit Harby, With a Med Neut whom overheats during the Drakes peak recharge should have no trouble solo'ing one, granted this needs to be a top notch gank Harby 700 dps minimum. ***The tears of those who fail to adapt sustain me. |

I'll tell you how not to kill a Drake.
Non speed fitted Tempest.
Even a tank Drake can fit a point, and keep a Tempest in range.
Also, DPS numbers are not reality. Missiles boats do damage over time.
Turret users, at max skill, have a chance to do X amount of DPS which depends on a lot of factors.
For missile users its sig radius and also the speed of the target (hmmmm.. lately there's been some discussion of speed, but can't quite remember about what). So max skilled missile users actually get a dependable DPS number over the entire fight.
For completeness, Drones are killable. Great for blobs tho.
The one reliable way to kill a Drake is to deliver more than 1000 DPS. Or Nuet it.
I've dueled almost every sub cap ship in Drakes. You can't kill one in a BC if we are talking max skilled Drake. You can't kill one in a command ship either.
Blaster BS or Torp Raven, sure.
What ships can a Drake kill? Well, ships piloted by noobs. And HAM Drakes can suprise you

Originally by: Kano Sekor Well post nerf i predict a lot of Drakes will be flying around thinking they are all that, however i whould like to omgwtfpwn these guys and i want the ship to be able to do that be a BC and im thinking a harbinger.
Bad idea. Amarr is actually the worst choice.
Due to the resistance bonuses and the typical hardeners used, kinetic is typically the Drake's weakest resist.
Originally by: Kano Sekor The reasoning is that Drakes shieldtank afaik and lasers are good against shields hence harbinger whould do awesome.
This is pretty braindead. If you want to take out a specific ship, go on battleclinic or somewhere and look at actual setups for that ship. I think you'll find that the weakest resist in an omnitank drake is Kinetic, not EM or Thermal.
Originally by: Kano Sekor 1. What missiles do the general Drake pilot use (Kinetic?)
Random. There are no damage type specific bonuses on the drake, so don't assume anything.
Originally by: Kano Sekor 2. Does anyone have any other ideas on how to pwn Drakes?
If you can neut their hardeners off, they're a snap to kill. But you need a few hits from a medium or heavier neut, then a small neut to keep it down. Other than that, bring a gank boat. Barrage or kinetic missiles. Or a blaster boat.
Originally by: Kano Sekor 3. Normal stats on a generic peeeveeepeee Drake? Rigs?
check battle clinic. There's really no such thing as a generic setup. Rigs are typically purgers (shield regen). Smarter pvp pilots use extenders instead.
Originally by: Kano Sekor 4. Suggestions? (<= insert funny remark to this question)
Bring friends. The drake can fit a sadistic tank with ease, and cheaply. - Support fixing the UI|Suggest Jita fixes|Compact logs |

Most of the things you said were so horribly wrong, but this was my favorite part.
Kinetic is never their lowest; if it is, their tank is crap anyway.

Well, yeah, it's stupid not to use other damage types when you're shooting into a resist hole. Most drake's tend to pack kinetic only though.. and some do things like above, hehe.
Also, generic HAM-drakes tend to have Invuls and EM/Therm resist rigs or Extender ones instead of EM/Therm hards. Which results in EM being the lowest resist.

Rather than trusting you guys ive been trying to EFT out a good drake fit (With all skills at lvl V) and gather a worst case scenario for a PvP Drake, and i can not get the numbers you are talking about i get a shield tank of 450 dps at peak and a damage output of around 580 dps and a EHP of around 69 k EHP.
Still it seems enough to 100% kill my harbinger setups of which stats are: Plated setup: 61 k EHP 631 dps (706 dps overheated) and thats with no repping at all.
Dual rep setup: 493 (547 overheated) dps output and a 215 dps defence and around 40 k EHP and cap stability as long as i have 800 charges. (ofc w/o overheating my reppers wich will put me in negative cap balance)

Damage types to kill a Drake depend on the Drake you're talking about:
Proper buffer-tanked gank Drake with point + gang mod: EM. This setup only has enough CPU for one hardener, and it's probably an invulnerability field (+ the gang mod).
Gank Drake with no gang mod: thermal, possibly EM. Without the gang mod, there's enough CPU to fill the EM hole, but there's a chance it's running dual invulnerability fields, which would make thermal best again.
Uber-passive Drake: thermal, but who cares really. The EM hole is definitely filled, but with no dps and no tackle, you've got all the time you need to call in some friends to finish it off.
Kinetic and explosive will NEVER be the best damage type for T1 ships (explosive is often best for T2 ships, however), since thermal is the second lowest resist, and very rarely gets a specific hardener.
As for how to kill it, just treat it like any other buffer-tanked gank BC: either bring a battleship, or hit it with multiple cruiser/BC-class ships. Drakes really aren't anything special, they've got a bit more EHP, a bit less gank, and much better range, but as long as you don't let it keep range on you, it doesn't really require any special tactics.
As for what missiles to expect: kinetic, 90% of the time. Even if you happen to have a lower resist to shoot at, the reload time and loss of the 25% damage bonus is probably going to offset that, making an ammo switch kind of pointless. If you're doing it right, a PvP target is going to go down before you have time to screw around with changing damage types.
