POS reguarded question. If a POS is offline, lets say a caldari medium control tower. Do you still have to take down the 25mil shield hp if you attack the control tower in the offline mode? |

If the tower is offline so is the shield so no.

Well, when i target it it shows on the bars that the target have shields at 100%. What shields is this then?

Braage is correct. The tower itself still has shields, armor, and structure, even when it's offline. The shield just isn't projected into a bubble around the tower when it's offline.

Don't get the bubble confused with the towers shields. The bubble will go down when the tower is offline but the tower itself has it's own personal shield, armour and structure.

shame you cant offline someone else's pos, i want to put a pos at a moon and someones left some of there rubbish there i got to spend hours clearing it up, ie killing it boo bloody hoo  ccp =

Ah ok, but that personal shield in this case is at 25mil hp still right? Hmm, that sucks. I was CCP took down POS's thats been offline and not cared for after a couple of months.

My mistake i was thinking bubble the whole time.
