The tank is perhaps slightly excessive. The only missions that come close to breaking it are AE4 Bonus Room and Worlds Collide Serpentis room with full aggro.
I also suspect that EA5/5 might be a threat but I don't run that series of missions.
The medium beam isn't a huge addition to the arsenal but it's handy for tickling frigates while I deal with the bigger stuff. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

So far, so good. I can say pretty much the same thing about my setup. My sig is a bit bigger but doesn't matter because the tank can absorb it.

Hmmm. I'm not convinced. The NH begs to be passive tanked. You seem to imply that your setup is a perma tank in which case it's not so bad but I still think you're missing a trick using shield boosters.
I also don't like the tractor beam but that's a personal thing. I tried that at one point but I kept accidently blowing up wrecks so soon dropped it in favour of a little bit more DPS. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

Swap out the recharger for another extender if you can fit it. I ran the maths a couple of months ago and found that a third extender is slightly better. Only a few %ge points but it is. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

Actually not. Its tank is as good as the NH but its gank is not. For a BC the Drake is an impressive ship but don't be fooled by the extra launcher. It doesn't have the DPS that the Nighthawk has.
Running L4s in a Drake is like pulling teeth. I doubt if it could complete Vengence at all.
Don't forget:The NH gets an RoF and Precision bonus. The extra launcher gives a Drake a 16% DPS boost initially but at 5% per level the NH can eventually give itself a 25% DPS boost. The precision bonus is just the icing on the cake.
The Drake is a great ship for the money and, yes, it can handle most L4s but the NH is a superior ship for mission running. That extra % of DPS makes all the difference against shield tankers. The Drake might be closer in performance when fighting armour tankers though. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

That said; The NH is not the best mission ship imo. Its Kinetic damage bonus is wasted on most Blood and Sancha ships, as EM still works better. The NH's DPS vs BS too low imo making BS heavy missions too long.
I find the NH to be a very boring mission ship even if it is quite capable. The Raven is a bit boring too, but itĘs also cheaper, requires less skills, and is more capable.
4 SPRs? WTF? I'm not surprised you think that the NH is not as good as a Raven. What are you trying to tank - a Doomsday weapon? FFs, swap at least one of those SPRs for a BCS. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)

But is that that extra % point gain cancelled out due to your increased sig radius?
I'm not sure, tbh but the tank seemed a little better. Could've been my imagination though. It sure wasn't noticeably worse.
Anyway I've just tweaked my setup further. It's made it rather silly but the extra DPS is noticeable.
I now have T2 purgers and 3 BCS. RoF on the launchers is 4.36 down from 4.68. Cost me nearly 600mil but that's small change for me.
I didn't have long to test but I'm pretty certain that the new tank (some 15% worse from removing that SPR) will still be plenty for all and any missions. -- (Sarcastic mission running veteran, 4+ years)
