If the insurence payout is good I am like "ooooooooooh yeaaaah I am rich biatch !!"
And else I am like "ohnoes" .... and grab another ship and start pondering the person that killed me :).

It depends totally on the situation for me, when I lost my 1st mega i took to my bed for days..
After that it got easier and easier.
Now though, if its a good fight i will congratulate in local, and not mind.. but if ive been slapped and never stood a chance and the aggressors lord it up. I will say nothing in local, but will be sitting seething imagining ways to bring about their down fall.. which of course never happens.
Theres no game can give the rush of PvP like EVE. ===============================================

I've lost a few Tempests in my time (embarrassingly they tend to get lost to missions rather than PvP) and I can't really get upset because it's almost always my fault for doing something stupid or if it's lag then I petition.
My most memorable loss was many years ago when I had my first shiny Rupture that had taken me a fair few weeks to save and train for... I met m00 on my way to rat in Aununen... I was shaking throughout the 30 second battle (that felt like it was happening in slow motions) and was not a happy bunny afterwards.
I needed a week to cool off after that one! Angelice Infinity Enterprises

I get real sour for about half an hour. Then I usually have had time to get another ship and kill whomever killed me. Then I feel good again.

These days I tend to say "oopsie" if I lose a ship then grumble a little at the thought of having to get alty to haul another one.
The very first ship I lost when I was a nubbin to a 'mean old pirate' however I was in such a temper that I took a week off eve

My last loss was when I just got back into eve after a month long break 15 min in and I lose my myrm to a roaming gang and get podkilled with an out of date clone (didn't think to check that after a month my sp would be over the limit).
Think I just said "Yep...yeah, good old EvE." It's funny this game has some of the harshest penalties for dieing yet most of us just don't care much at all when we get blown up. Guess that's what happens when you accept that your ship is an explosion waiting to happen.

I don't swear at losing ships. If I'm in a gang op (so therefore on vent, I like to turn on music instead if I'm soloing), you'll hear me saying "Going down" with the subsequent "I'm dead." or something like that to notify people I'm out of the fight.
Occasionally I get annoyed if it's someone else's fault, but I generally don't bother people about it. I fly cheap at any rate, so losing 30-40M out of 3B doesn't really begin to dent the wallet.
I remember back when I was relatively new to piracy, losses used to hurt more (because I wasn't as cheap as I am now, and I had less financial buffer to take losses), but I don't recall swearing over ship losses. I was actually fascinated when I lost my first ship to a gatecamp

I don't take any heat from losing PVP ships, they're there to die anyhow. Its just the matter of when. _______

I lost a corpum fitted ishtar to concord once, accidentally nossed a wreck belonging to another player, that was a really "oh crap" moment.
About 500mil loss too.

As a taranis pilot I'm more shocked when I DON'T die, but the only frustrating thing to me about losing a ship is losing it to that ever-present third party to any engagement: the lag monster. Which is frustrating for the reason that you know you could have done better if only there wasn't 30 second module lag holding you back.

If it's because of my own stupidity, such as going for that one last wreck, instead of heading for the gate, then I get insanely annoyed. Otherwise, most of the fights I pick are deliberately hard since I like to test my own skill instead of gankgankgank. Sometimes it works out, and you feel awesome for beating the odds, other times it doesn't but I don't feel bad, since I know it was a tough fight.
It's all about the player skill.

In the last year or so I've lost approximately 4 out of 5 ships in situations where I couldn't move or couldn't see anything due to lag and would have survived easily otherwise, so I only abuse CCP in the ragequit feedback forms ...
How to PVP: 1. buy ISK with GTCs, 2. fit cloak, learn aggro mechanics, 3. buy second account for metagaming

generally, it's a sort of ****, ****, argh, ****, oh ****... before the firing starts.
soon as first volley lands, it's too late to curse, and it's a sort of zen-like calm... to the point of, for example, recently sitting talking with corp who were elsewhere, whilst tanking the people who'd jumped me, knowing I did'nt quite have the DPS to nail them all solo, and did'nt have the cap charges to keep tanking more than 15mins or so.

I lose frigates so no worries here, buyt maybe a F*CK Sh*t for an Inty or and AF.
I did loose an Alliance mates fully rigged Salvage Destroyer back when I was an ultra noob and I said hey you can hve my destroyer to replace it. A few weeks later I saw the Killboard with the fittings and the prices of the rigs and I was oo F*uck balls, boy did I apologize after that. Lucky the guy was cool with it. A few months later someone in corp goes hey Slade where are you at, I told them and they said why is there one of your wrecks out here and it took me a few minutes to realize that my buddy did not change the name of my destroyer and it finally bit the dust also.

I mainly get annoyed at my own stupidity if that is what got me killed. Only times I really get angry is when I lose my dictor (for the umpteenth time) and the FC starts whining at me to drop another bubble a minute later. I may or may not have used some expletives at those occasions

"Ah nuts.
Well I won't be doing that again."
Pretty sanguine about it.
I normally am more concerned with my own performance than the other involved parties.
If they did something clever I normally congratulate them on it.
If I did something especially dumb I normally take a break so as to avoid losing another ship in a dumb fashion.
Even mistakes don't bother me that much if there's a learning experience in there.

I got upset when i lost my first BS ( was a Rokh and thats pretty much my favourite ship), but only because it was my own fault. I was ratting in 0.0 and didnt looka t the local channel. I wanted to head back to the system where the corps HQ was and jumped right into roaming enemys who just had arrived on the other side of the gate.
Now i just say "oh noez now i gotta get a new one" or something like that because i actually dont care much about losing a virtual spaceship. and since i can afford it and always have some other ships in my hangar it doesnt matter anyways. I only lost three ships in pvp in the last year so i dont belong to the ppl who lose a lot of ships. ---------------------------------------

Usually I know when I'm about to lose a ship and have already made my peace with it, so I'll maybe utter a silent "aw crap" or something. Like when I was gangwarped over 90AU into a fleet of hostiles... ah well, if I had some fun before my ship goes pop I usually don't mind.
However if it's thanks to my own stupidity (the infamous last can/wreck) or just sheer random bad luck, then I do get pretty ****ed and swear out loud. Not over TS tho, I hate people who do that, "going down" is all you'll hear from me there before I throw my headset away and punch the wall :) Of course that too always depends on how much that ship was worth compared to my wallet.

For pretty much any situation it's, "Eff."
a week or so ago in FW I was jumping into resbroko and there was a gate camp, I was in a rupture, when I jumped through I said, "Eff"
I slowboated back to the gate, survived.
Then a couple nights a Ceptor and a Sentinel got my jaguar, "eff"
the next day when I realized I still had my +4's in my cargo hold of that jag, "eff"
Doomsdayed when figthing BoB a bazillion times, "eff"
I get more frustrated at missing out on targets.
My approach to eve is that, no matter what loss you take, even if it breaks you, you can always get isk. Mine veld in high sec, run missions, rat, whatever, you can always get back on your feet.
