I've read that most think a lot of Caldari ships and missiles in general aren't suited to solo PvP. My question is if you wanted to concentrate purely on putting together a Caldari-centric PvP routine, which ships can make a credible, competitive go at solo Caldari PvP? I'm looking for both ship classes/types (T1/T2) and general weapon fits, i.e. HAM Drake, etc.

The Manticore stealth bomber can be pretty good, but you do have to pick youre targets carefully and have lot's and lot's of patience. Setup is pretty simple, cruise launchers, 2 sensor boosters, one or two sensor damps, ballistic control units and obviously a cloak. Which types you use depends on skills, but fit T2 where you can apart from the launchers as rof isnt the main issue of this kind of combat, its all about the alpha strike.

HAM Drake can be used to solo. Delivers decent DPS and fits a tank that could only be called "frustrating" to most.
Rook (to an extent) can be used to solo. Its tank is ECM, so its risky though. They're pretty cheap at around 50m though. Don't use it against drone ships, and look out for big tanks, as the DPS isn't stellar.
Blaster Harpy can lay down 220+ DPS, MWD around at 1200m/s, while wearing over 8000 EHP.
So there are two missle boats, and one gunboat that *can* solo.

drake all the way, can do 500+ dps, have point/web, can have a nice buffer tank long enough to kill multiple cruisers (most i've killed is 4 i believe) though only thing is it maneuvers like a cow
though a good ham setup takes alot of skills, don't try it if you don't have the skills, you will only get torn up |

There are individual "gank" ships in eve but most races are not suited to solo pvp tbh and defiantly not caldari. |
