You said that it was only 10 million worth of stuff and that it didn't really matter. Remember? Of course not. Honestly, regardless of who is in the right we are just making ourselves look stupid. I'm out of the corp now, and as far as I'm concerned that was the main issue.

The shuttles. Even before the Merc posted the wallet logs showing the purchase of exactly the same number of shuttles, it was very suspicious. Yes, Murphy's hangar had a lot of stuff in that could have been from trading and/or mission loot. But what player has a stack of dozens of shuttles in their hangar? They don't drop from missions, they aren't suitable for trading, you would never need to stockpile more than a few for personal use - but they are exactly the kind of thing you'd find in a shared access corp hangar. But as Matalino says - it doesn't actually matter who "wins" as this is a private matter.

I'm only in an NPC corp because I needed to grind ISK to buy GTCs, and my corp at the time was doing the empire wardec thing, and I haven't gotten around to either rejoining a real corp, or even moving over to my alt corp again...mostly because I'm lazy. A quick look at my employment history will show you that I am, in fact, a main and not someone's alt. Second, thank you for finally posting some sort of proof. Things would have gone quicker if you had posted all your images along with your original accusations rather than stringing things out. It would appear that both sides in your little spat lose here, as expected. You need to think before you make racial jokes like that, Merc, and it looks like Murphy will need to make a new alt to do his stealing.

Murph posts wallet logs that seem to show he deals in items similar to some of those found in his hanger. As much as Merc would like to implicate Murph in corp theft, I don't see any proof that what he bought ended up in the corp hanger, or that Murph later removed those same items into his own hanger. Sure, it's possible that Murph is a thief and it's possible he's not as well. Out of general prudence, I'd be wary hiring him for "my" corp, if I had one. And for the record: I am not a racist, as a result I do not tell racist jokes, ever! I also refuse to participate in any sort of racist talk with others. I think it is quite valid to question whether a person who does participate in those acivities is indeed racist himself. I can appreciate Merc's apology, it is my hope that it was sincere. time will tell, I suppose.

Yesterday I was on Murph's side but after the screenshots, I'm leaning on Mercs side. Interesting case! So what do we do? Once we declare this case close, we hunt down the guilty? And as for the NPC corp, well that's because I'm in between two corps. I left one so I could join another... :)

One thing not related to the main part of this thread. - I am one player that has a number of shuttles in his main hanger. They are suitable for production and trade 100%+ profits to be made even buying them and selling on. Going by the buy orders on the market lots of pilots are stockpiling them and trading them.

NPC do not make them anymore - only players produce them therefore people will have a good few in their hangers

The fact your trying to defend yourself says makes it very clear you have not accepted that fact you are indeed a raciest. The sooner you can accept that and NOT defend your actions the sooner you will become a better person.

I know that Murphy said it is not about the racial jokes. But there is a problem with people saying racial jokes in completely anonymous format. There is a total lack of accountability. I have recently seen a white guy in a 95% black audiance tell some light race based jokes and he had the place rolling. In corp chat there is no real way to tell the undertones of sensitive material. So best thing is to leave it out. At this point I can not say that I can believe either side at this point. Again, if you ARE being honest, time to put up or shut up. Petition it, or accept the reputation hit and come clean. Either one - as it is, your credibility is slipping away.
