I don't get whats so threatening about us carebares that don't leave high-sec. What do you care what I do? Unless your just looking for an easy noob target to destroy. That isn't fun for me, I've ventured into low sec missioning and gotten blown up (I'm not complaining, mind you as I was fully expecting to get blown up at some point). Its just not fun to do missions there. Now, it is fun on the other hand to make a dedicated PvP ship and roam in a gang in low/null sec. Why can't I do both? Doing lv 4 missions in high sec in relative safety in an expensive ship, funds my expiditions into the black for PvP related activities which have relatively low loot rewards but high 'fun' rewards.

My reply is relavent, I was simply expressing my opinion on the whole lv4 high sec mission issue. Your reply to mine is worthles...as is this post, but hey I'm bored at work so I'll poke at the troll a bit.

Ok, so maybe my post was phrased wrong, but the operateive word here is "Opinion". The questions I posed were rhetorical, no need to answer them. And I have read a good deal of other topics with the same issue. I just chose this one to post in because it happened to be the one I had opened.

No it isn't. If lv 4 agents were moved (exclusively) to low sec/null sec, it would be increasing the number of ships blown up, and expensive ones too. I don't want to deal with that even if the rewards were boosted. When runing a mission, I want to be alone and "safe" w/o having to deal with a wolf pack raining on my parade. Maybe that doesn't sound "fun" to you, but it does to me. When I want the exitement and danger of PvP I want to be in a proper ship and have buds nearby or roaming ourselves. I keep my PVP and missioning seperate, and I like it that way.

Is this another rethorical question? Who says you can't do both. What do you mean by both? Why can't you roam in both low sec and null sec, or why can't you both roam in low/nul sec and run missions? The answer to both question is: You can.
BTW, if lv4 missions were in low/null sec, then no you can't. Sure you can do missions and PVP still but the exception is, now when you're doing missions you also have to be on the lookout for pvp and using pvp tactics and fittings. In other words, its not the same as the PVP and Mission aspects start to overlap when your out in the black.

You want battlegrounds and consentual PvP. You can find both in this game. Eve has nonconsentual PvP and no battlegrounds. This discussion is based on the participants accepting this basic premiss.
No, I don't. I want EVE, and I like it just the way it is right now. I have absolutely zero complaints with it. I like the sandboxyness of it. Wow, is too structured and boreing.

But you want a structured Eve that is similar to WoW. According to your posts you want your PvE and your PvP separate. That means nonconsentual PVP. That means battlegrounds. That means similar to WoW which you find boring.
Think about what it is you're asking for.
Hello?! I like eve the way it is right now, this very second. (aside from a few lag issues) The game is perfect for me and is exactly what I want. So with that being said, are you trying to tell me that EVE right now is similar to WoW? I think you would offend a few players with that logic.

So, you oppose the upcoming changes to nanos and suicide ganking then?
Yes and no, I would really rather they not change ganking or nanoing but if they do, I don't think it would bother me much. But if I had to vote on it I would vote to keep Nano and Suicide ganking as is.

Missions are not supposed to be end game content. In fact, missions weren't even a part of the game when EVE Online launched. Missions are filler, not end-game content. I just wish the people who play the game for missions would realize that bad-guy-grinding in outer space wasn't supposed to be the fun part.
Who are you to dictate what others find fun? But just for the reccord I think missions are "end game". Missions to me are a nice safe way to keep the isk flowing to fund my true pursuits.

So what is end game? Pos bashings, alliance politics and lag fests?
In my opinion, there is no defined "end game". I see EVE as a persistant world that is what you make of it. Find your niche and have fun. I like missioning and roaming pvp. And after reading a thread in the n00b forum, I might take a vacation and become a tourist for a bit.
