No chribba should make those shirts, and sell them to support all of his wonderful 3rd party sites. --

No. You are. Chribba has provides a service, at his own expense, that players, all players, wouldn't have. I for one have no problem with him having a Veldnaught or some other special treatment. It doesn't hurt you or anyone else. Why is it so bad to show the man some gratitude?

You my friend are both ignorant and foolish.
CCP doesn't give Chirbba any special treatment. He is where he is through his own hard work and undying dedication. He's well liked by those of us with some history around here and those that have none, should be quiet, like children.

Well its not really about the fact that Chribba is so cool, he just as well might be a greedy backstabbing villain.
Its just about some EvE history and EvE universe artifacts that players leave behind and their persistence in time - which is incredibly cool. Eve allows for that, and is loved by players partially for that. It it felt sooo cool to find anchored incapacitated guns on some forgotten moons, with labels of long evicted, forgotten or dead alliances! Those deep space safespots, EvE cemetery, titan wrecks, and, of course Veldnaught, as the most famous of capital ships indulged to stay stranded in highsec systems they were built in.
Artificially removing that ability for no apparent (or at least declared) reason is obviously something most of the players would dislike.
So again, its not about Chribba being upset and demands favoritism to himself. Chribba started the thread not because he's the whiniest guy, but because he's most informed one. Dont get me wrong, Chribba is cool, but he is not nerfed to lowsec, Veldnaught is.

Actually, they did do what he wanted. They basically said file a petition and they will restore it to its high sec system.

So this capital ship may be brought back if a petition is filed. Good news. Means it can be seen.
CCP made a decision to act upon a very fired up debate. They did this quickly, too. Yet it was an easy one to rectify, very easy. Look at the amount of people who cared for this matter compared to the amount that slandered it. Now compare that combined number to the ones who did not post anything at all, or even know about the Hi-Sec Cap rule. Any that say CCP should not have buckled are right, were it only concerning a situation of more complexity, though. Which this was not. It really does not effect anyone at all. Those people who had no idea about the ruling will carry on regardless. When they do hear about the Cap ship in hi-Sec, they will be happy.
I for one, was excited that a Cap ship was in Empire. It meant I could go see CCP's brilliant artwork without sneaking around looking for Cyno's in a cloaked ship, making feel like some kind of trench-coat wearing train spotter.
As for the tattoo...really? How interesting. Carry on.

IIRC, his setup uses deepcore miners rather than t2, and it might have some cargo expanders too, not sure.
