Well, as it says on the tin, you've surely gotten some "props", and mine would have to be:
"Wow, impressive."
When i took a rookie ship agaist a HAC and actually got a pewpew going that would've popped him...in...say...an hour or so 
The pilot was more impressed that i managed to actually hurt.
EDIT: Then again, i've got no normal impairor in my bay

Some comments I remember the most fondly were from my late 2004 days when I first started leading gangs. They weren't always full-on glowing or anything, but there was enough encouragement there to make me want to keep doing it, so they probably affected my in-game career more than anything I've received since.
OOG, I've always appreciated the kind feedback to the videos my brother and I made in the past, as well.

"OMG your Rokh is armed!?! FU!? I am so gonna report you for exploiting can flipping n00b!"
The story behind this was that a few newbie corp members were jetcan mining in 0.9 and got their can flipped and killed.
I gave them the needed info on the subject, but to alleviate their pain I decided to get my old trusty mining Rokh to the same belt.
I fitted it with Neutron Blasters and such along with two miner II's to fool any can flipper and ofcourse a webber & scram.
Warped to a belt, turned on the two miners, made a jetcan and silently waited.
If you had half a brain you could see the guns on the Rokh (I was thinking to go back and fit it with Torps and NOS) but appearantly half a brain was already too much for the can flipper.
Guy flipped the can, flashed red and then I scrammed & webbed him and hit him with the Neutrons and Drones.
He was only in a Maller so he didn't exactly last very long...
Got a giggle when he said I exploited 'his' jetcan flipping

Back in my 0.0 days whilst heading back to High-sec from 0.0, I noticed a (big) friendly gatecamp at P3EN and a red jumped in with his Ishtar.
"Oh gawd, I am so f*cked aren't I?"
Gatecamp actually let his pod go for that funny comment

The first (I believe) ISK farmer I ever killed - a mining barge in high security space - contacted me soon afterward to inform me "Joss Sparq, you are big pig dog and hard".
To this day, I'd like to know how they knew about the "hard" part.

Or if you meant in game, I was flying a Huginn when a previous alliance was at war with Invicta. They jumped into our gang with their nano ships, and supporting Falcon, failed to kill me off the bat (My huginn is faster than a nano!). I then proceeded to spend my time chasing away the falcon and grabbing untackled ships for the rest of the gang.
After we held the field (and before Invicta came back with battleships) the FC said "I want to extend my personal thanks to Akkarin Pagan, because without him we would have just had our asses kicked" (or something along those lines). That made me very happy  .
Also recently while doing ship testing, a corpy said "Stay the **** away from me with that Claymore!". Made me smile too.

A few days after starting to run fleet ops in my old sov space, only a few months after I started to play EVE, I was in a convo with a fellow alliance mate talking some business. During that convo the guy said, "my CEO said you are excellent in PVP and that we need more guys like you." I said really . He said "yes, he said you follow instructions and you do not question orders, he says that is hard to find in EVE."
Not much, but it was a compliment that I enjoyed, considering I thought I was flailing about, LMAO!!!
Other then that I have gotten a few compliments in the forums, but I think I tend to blabber to much that people just skip my posts,

I once had a few newbs challenge my Taranis to a fight with a 2x Raven's and a Rokh. The dialogue went something like this:

well, me and two corp mates got props once
we were going through low security just ****ing around waiting for someone to come attack us in a belt, and in warps an Eos, and hurricane, so naturally me and my friend (we were both in cruisers) we fired on the hurricane since we had never heard of a "command ship" lol and figured it wouldnt be worth wasting the ammo on him, we got the hurricane down to i believe about half armor and i believe he WAS armor tanking as well, so they gave us props for that since we were just two noobs in cruisers (i was like 2 1/2 months, my m8 is a month older than me) and got his friend down half way, so i would say thats a good compliment
i was the first to die within around a minute, and i was a bit discouraged i died so quick but the Eos pilot was like "m8, ive seen older players go down quicker, ill be watching out for you in a few months" or something like that
although it did hit my wallet hard, it was almost all t2 fit,( had JUST got t2 hardeners) and i didnt think i was going to die so quickly, lol

Griefed a corp so hard the CEO and the only Director quit the game (actually cancelled accounts) because of corp mutiny! The Director said to me i was like a dog that never lets go!!! lol!
I war dec'ed them solo and they had 40+ members!!!
I took it as a sincere form of flattery. It doesn't get much more better than that when your a pirate!
