With capitals of those masses it would make sense to take the gravity aspect into consideration. Then again Eve tends to have its own physical laws so changing them a little wouldn't hurt. If 10km is considered too much at least 5km should be implemented. |

And what about just removing the bumping part out of the game. It makes no sence that a smaller ship can just bump bigger ship without blowing up or something else.
And let's not forget how much desync bumping creats, for atleast 4 years has the bumping part of the game being causing MILLIONS of desyncs problems!

According to the RP, Titans actually have their own gravitational field (capable of affecting tides on planets) and given their mass in comparison with a frig....... its pretty rediculous, especially how fast they spin when they get bumped hard. --

As long as I've played eve, excuse me for being mildly ******ed, but what exactly is desync as far as what occurs from this "bumping"? I don't deal with caps often nor pos gates, so I'm not particularly sure what this means. Anyone who could define this for me, would be appreciated.

when ships bump eachother in game there is a high chance that your client shows your ship to be in one place where as everyone else and the server show it to be in a completely different place. when using titan jump bridge there are a large number of ships in close proximity and bumping eachother and the titan causing some or most people not the be in useable range of the titan. so you end up sitting around for a good hour or so, when bridge is activated you aren't allowed to jump as it says it says you are too far from the titan effectively casuing you to miss out on the fun.

i dont know how many have tried to use a titan jump bridge but any slightly wrong movement bumps the titan and all the other ships around the pos untill everyone is thoroughly desynced.
try using a titan bridge with freighters its 5 times harder.
then try using it with a DN fleet... countless bumps and desynces. easily fixed if the bridge range of titan was 10kms tbh.
