By the illuminated verses of the sweet Ida itself, it's true. Oxygen being wasted does make a sound.
Congratulations, Jade, you are truly a wordsmith of the highest calibre - only you could make the acquisition of a Titan sound boring. I imagine I could sleep through the very crack of doom, were you describing it to me. -----

Freecaptain Grim86StonE Ship: Paladin class Marauder, codenamed "The Liberator" Location: Clasified, drydock.
A well built, shady figure aproaches the flashing Neo-Com. Weary from the latest operations, he reads the announcement and smiles.
"Even if I am a new member of this esteemed organization, I am very proud for having the opportunity of playing a small part in this endeavour. This is an achievement for every Freecaptain and like-minded person, be he or she a capsuleer or common folk. I salute with all my heart every fractionist, and especially the ones that make up our leadership, for their determination and dedication. May The True God bless you all and this awesome engine of destruction."
Neo-com minimised.....
The Freecaptain returns to his duties un his flagship.

Captain's Quarters, Sentiment, Brutix-class battlecruiser, somewhere in the Ortner Constellation.
Vieve paused, black checker in her right hand, as the announcement and its responses scrolled up the holo window she'd left idling over her work table. A rare smirk perched atop her lips.
"'Allo, chacun! Nous avons le nouveau pantalon trFs dangereux! Entendez ceci et ayez trFs peur..."
Her game partner nipped her fingers.
"...ow." She plonked the piece down on the board. "Fine. King me."
The scarlet and gold 'lily' obliged the request, then snapped up the stacked checkers after the next three exchanges of moves. It began crunching Vieve's brief victory to pieces in its tepalic spines.
Vieve put a hand over her face. "And exactly when did I announce that move, Allegra?"

Attia Alveolus, encompassed in the goo that seems so unique to these Capsules, scans through the headlines of the day whilst awaiting docking clearance. She filters through the usual tripe before stumbling across another Star Fraction Announcement.
More propaganda? she thinks to herself, Surely we've had enough of that recently to last at least a week!?
Compelled by a feeling of strange desire, she finds herself dragging the latest communique to the forefront of her senses, half expecting to find yet another fine example of bickering between the Free Captains and the State Militia that has seemed so prevalent on GalNet of late. As she reads, those thoughts disperse to be replaced by a true sense of wonder at the achievement she finds herself reading about.
A small, anarchist society being able to source a tool so many other organizations still dream about? It defies belief, and yet it spurs so much hope.
She opens her communication channel to her crew and, more specifically, her second-in-command, Gaius Jassa.
"Mr. Jassa, send out our congratulations, on behalf of the Corporation, to the Free Captains of the Star Fraction for their recent achievements. If you know of a Transport heading in their direction, be sure to forward a few crates of spirits their way as well - it seems they have much cause for celebration."
Jassa doesn't offer any vocal response, but viewing him through her on-board surveillance system, Alveolus sees him nod his head in agreement as he turns back to his interface and begins making the necessary arrangements.
Yes, congratulations Star Fraction, and may your new tool prove to be everything you hoped it to be. I'm sure this won't be the last we'll hear of it.
Her docking request complete, Attia Alveolus returns herself to the task of leaving the goo behind and making her way to the nearest bar, toasting the success of the Free Captains, and dreaming of the future. - -

The gunnery officer slowly opened his eyes, waiting for the full force of the hangover to wash over him. He looked around the room, his own quarters, amazed that he had actuallly managed to get back to the ship in on piece.
Dragging himself out of the sleeping cubicle, he went to the wash unit, where a haggard and bleary eyed face stared back at him from the mirror.
A faint smile creased the corners of his lips as he thought aloud, "When the "skip" is in the mood to celebrate, boy does he do it right!!" leading him to laugh out load at the memory of the skipper looseing several hours of his life and his teeth....................... -----------------------------------------------

Originally by: Darina Rea Maybe a silly question, but consider the SF's theater of operation is lower security and higher security space... and this thing is prohibited from entering both those, what exactly is it good for? Albeit a very fancy announcement that is.
Vaden laughs over the comms at the SF announcement. He shakes his balding head before responding.
Well, pilot Darina, what this ship will be good for is drawing out every outlaw within 20 jumps the first time they dare bring it to the frontlines. The Black Plan? You would be more accurate to call it the Target Beacon. Despite their ideals, I do not believe Star Fraction stupid enough to field this vessel in any location that it can not utilize its doomsday device. And as I also do not believe them stupid enough to create a vessel that costs a king's fortune for virtually no purpose, I believe this pronouncement to be false. Idiots, no. Liars, of course.

Is it my fault if most of what he says is right?
Although actually, on thus subject I'd have to quite vigorously disagree with him. I've never really liked the Leviathan, I prefer the Ragnarok and the Erebus. I think the one looming around in my nation's capital system might have something to do with it, but there you go. -----

I thought the Federation had moved their capital to Villore (maybe Ladistier or Algogille) a while ago. And aren't you Intaki, wouldn't your nation's* capital be in the Intaki system? And the State Leviathan is looming over Caldari Prime, not Gallente Prime. It acts as a secure line of communication back to the rest of the State for Caldari Prime and a Caldari station.

True on most counts - I said "nation" when I meant "state" - and you're right about Villore, although I don't think, given its current position, it's neccessarily the best capital system either. Regardless, Luminaire is of incredible importance to the Gallente Federation, and the Titan there is making everyone feel edgy. -----
