I'm doing a mission (Cargo Delivery) that only gives you the option to warp to within zero. And I can't stick around long enough to do any real damage to any one enemy - they are beating on me like I owe 'em money. I tried to bookmark a nearby asteroid in the deadspace and use it to "warp to within 70km", but it still warps me to within zero...
Any tips on how to handle this?

If you aren't set on killing the spawns, buy whatever the agents want. Approach the warehouse in a shuttle until you get the journal blink. Warp to station and turn in the item you bought.
If you can't find the item on the market, an interceptor works for grabbing the warehouse contents. It's considered deadspace, so use an AB.

Thanks. I guess there's no way to control how you warp into the area. I'll do what you suggest, as I'm just wasting time otherwise.

I believe this involves Blood Raiders or Sanshas, just fit two Thermic and one or two EM hardeners and fight your way out.
The loot is not bad, kind of fun really.

I like to kill rats.
The tactic I used before I could tank them was to trigger the spawn and warp out quickly then warp back in and as soon as I can I then aim myself back from the direction of warp (also away from the cargo container) and flee in space away from the rats.
The nastiest rats do not spawn on top of the beacon so doing this keeps most of them out of their effective range while you pop them. You may have to stop a few times or adjust your speed to let them catch up to your effective range. When I flew the typhoon I left a trail of wreckage 100km long doing this but it worked. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Relationships are ours to make; we define them, day by day, by who we choose to love and how we choose to love them. It's called "kiting" and is a very effective technique. Use an AB and if you start to draw too far away, slow down. Always keep yourself pointed at a Celestial Object, so if it gets hairy, you just warp out (you're aligned already).
