I am curious as to what you all believe the most feared Battleship in the Universe is. Being Gallente I tend to favour the Megathron with its 7 turret slots and 2 launcher slots. 6 Blasters and 2 Siege launchers along with 5 heavy drones can put a load of hurt on anyone.

On a personal note, I would always use 7 Turrets and in the 8Slot, whatever does still fit (usually not much).

The Vindicator is a thing of Beauty I was just focusing on the tech 1 non faction ships.
As for the siege launcher issue that our friend at Dark Horse mentioned. With the blasters the range is within 10km which fits the torpedo range perfectly. The torpedoes before the range and speed nerf were nasty Mofo's and it gives you the ability to change up your damage type so your not just dealing Kin and therm damage.

Im happy to fight any battleship other than the domi, atleast the ones piloted by people smart enough to realise nos/neut domis still own everything sub capital 1 on 1.

^^ Vindicator for me, closely followed or equalled by the Navy Mega. For sheer damage output you can't beat them (up close, within 10km of course!).
That said, a neutron gank dommi with maxed skills and drones... they can pump out about 1600 DPS on overheating, that's quite scary.

Scorpion is most feared, 
because a lot of EFT DPS isn't enough to win every fight.

I like to fly in small ships so for me, it's really the Rapier; nothing scares me more (especially as I normally float around with HG snakes). Rapiers and dictors I wont go near if they're teamed up.
A Falcon - doesn't scare me but if I see one and im either soloing or in a small gang, I/we will usually just go away since it's pointless staying (all get jammed). Anything more than 3 people and we'll stay ofc, but if, say, there's 2 of us in AFs, we wont stick around if there's a falcon on overview.
