Signed, absolutely! One of the most irritating "features" in eve to not be able to discern between a BPO and a BPC, especially for newer people. |

I wanted to add a few thoughts as well as my signature to get this system changed.
Firstly, I do like the irony in changing the colour of a BLUEprint :)
Perhaps some form of change in shape or corner marking etc would be better, are colour blind people not affected by some of the suggested colours?
Anyway, what I currently do is have 3 secure containers renamed "BPO's", "BPC's" and "0-run BP's" and make sure i stock them in there. Now I know it is a pain to keep opening them to look but it is the easiest solution for me at the moment.
But, once again, signed! ------------------------------ Refiner, Manufacturer, Researcher, Hunter, Adviser, Hauler, anything but miner! |

the problem is, It is a major change.
BPO/Bpcs are the same item code, just the stats are changed, the client has no way to tell them apart

Signed...and how.
BPO = one color BPC = different color
Don't care which one's which.
Originally by: flummox can't remember where i read it, i'll try to find it later. but the DEV's actually commented on this and from the impression i got that the DEV's either did not want to make the change, or they said the coding would be a nightmare and won't tackle it for a while...
i'll try and find it...
It was because of the graphics involved in displaying the chits for items. They claimed separate BPO/BPC graphics would bog things down and introduce enormous lag.
From this statement it would appear that (a) images for these are on the server and fed to us as-requested instead of cached locally - thus introducing mondo lag with 6k-7k people requesting images regularly, and (b) someone who was trying to re-write Windows in the client fuggled this up as well.
Color = clBlue versus Color = clYellow seems pretty simple to me, but then I'm not a first-year C programmer.
